works as advertised
honestly, for the size and cost of this little guy it works so well. we got it for our garage and while it's not cooling the entire garage it does a really good job of cooling off the area around it, which is perfect for the Florida heat. I was worried it would make the humidity worse but honestly it doesn't feel any more humidity than normal, and it definitely cools very well. definitely worth the money.

Not Satisfied.
Advertised as Portable Air Conditioner, but it's just a cooler - NOT AIR CONDITIONER based on water circulation. No more no less.

Decent fan, questionable AC
It's lightweight, on wheels, and reasonably quiet. The fan has different speed settings and the ability to oscillate/rotate. It's quite an effective fan for a smallish room about 100-200 sq ft. Adding water + ice packs (the ones included with the unit or you own) provides some cooling, which is better than no cooling. Just don't expect this portable unit to e.g. cool down a hot and humid Florida ~100 F day to 80 F or less - that ain't happening!

Didn't work for where I am in the desert.
Made things hotter in the room instead of cooling it off. I don't think it was any match for the desert heat. It used a lot of water really fast too which would quickly get expensive.

Makes “water noise” and leaks
It cools down a bit. I was aware this was not a full fledged a/c unit, so the cooling factor is OK. My problem with this is that it makes a water fountain noise, and I have had other swamp coolers before and I’ve never heard this. And the filter gets completely soaked, so much so my floors get wet.I am returning.

Not enough for 100 degree weather.
When our air conditioning went out ordered and received this quickly. It is easy to use, but suitable only for a small room.
