Outstanding Brushless Motors And Great Prices!
Flash Hobby motors are absolute winners! Excellent design, state-of-the-art manufacturing, and superb performance... and all at a terrific price. I own several of these Turbo motors and they all work fantastic -- on pattern and sport planes, on 3D aerobatic airplanes, and with foamies for the kids. The Flash Hobby company produces a broad range of motors for a variety of model aircraft types. Before purchasing, I highly recommend visiting the company's website. There, you will find all the specific information needed to make the right motor selection. The company website offers much more technical information about voltages, wattage, current & ESC requirements, rpm & thrust produced... and most importantly, propeller performance at various diameters & pitches. This detailed technical information will take much of the guesswork out of your motor selection. On the website, you'll find many different motor models to choose from. Amazon lists many of these models at great prices. My preference is their finest black "Turbo" model, with upgraded components and a bolt-on propeller adapter (much better balanced and more secure than common collet-style prop adapters). You'll also need to determine if you'll be mounting your motor in front or behind the fuselage firewall. As you'll see, the various Flash Hobby motors with brightly colored anodizing typically mount in front of the firewall using the supplied 4-point motor mount and a collet-style prop adapter. In contrast, the black "Turbo" models can mount either in front of or behind the firewall. Keep in mind that if front mounting these Turbo motors, the bolt-on prop adapter attaches to the spinning portion of the motor. Consequently, the 3mm drive shaft will extend out the rear -- beyond the back of the motor mount, and about 1/2-inch behind the firewall. Be sure to allow a bit of interior fuselage clearance for this spinning shaft when installing. For many years, I purchased expensive name-brand motors. Since discovering Flash Hobby motors, I have bought several of these excellent quality motors and have enjoyed consistently great results. They are powerful, smooth, quiet, a few grams lighter weight, and they run cooler than many other brands. These Flash Hobby Turbo motors really are terrific -- great performance at a great price. Highly recommended. Check them out for yourself.

Great Power for its size
I tried a 1120 kv and its good for 39 inch foam planes, but for the larger ones this 1300 kv adds a little more power. 10x4.7 prop works well with this motor.

this Motor has the correct prop adapter kit.
I ordered two of them and the prop adapter did not fit, too large. I returned them and received another two with the same issue.

Good motor
Good motor, but if you're using it for crawlers, you'll have to file down a flat side on the shaft.

Perfect for Foamy Plane!
Installed this in a little Foamy Edge 540 profile plane. Motor is small and light, but has a TON of power! Runs very strong, and no issues with heat or anything from this little motor. Will buy again in the future!
