The edible luster dust can add as much or little of those "extra sparkles" that you might want to foods and beverages. I don't recommend the spoon for application as a little tiny bit of this goes a long way. I had no issues mixing it clump free in plain water or with vodka for painting cookies. It was also easy to dust over cupcakes using a fine mesh strainer. It does have a very, very light taste/flavor which blends into anything easily and well. It is everything that you would expect from an edible luster dust.
