YES, NEOPRENE!
Love the neoprene. It makes the bag more mushy and floppy, which for me, makes it harder to control. I also just love the smell.

Not worth it
Too soft and sagging. I order 200 and filled it to 225 and still flopped.

You can be rough with it
This sandbag is built to take a beating. I've thrown, slammed, and carried it around, and it just keeps going—perfect for those intense training sessions. The HyperFlex neoprene construction and adjustable weight options mean you can be as rough as you need without worrying about it busting. A real workhorse for any serious workout.

Not Bad.
This bag isn't bad. I would like to point out a couple of points:1. Sand will have moisture. Even after drying out wet sand that I purchased from the hardware store, I found that it still had moisture.2. I used a contractor-grade plastic bag as a liner. Also, it helps to funnel sand into the bag.

Great workout!
These heavy duty bags are great. Nice way to take your workout outside and enjoy the weather. Would recommend these to anyone with a home gym.

Neoprene makes for a much more comfortable workout
I have a few sandbags now and frequently workout with them, so I feel qualified to honestly review this Hyperwear sandbag. I also have a Hyperwear 30 lb. rucksack that’s an impressive piece of equipment, but that’s not the same thing. As far as sandbags, I have:- a 100 lb. strongman sandbag similar to this one but constructed of 1050D Nylon Cordura,- an 80 lb. padded PVC sandbag that holds three individual kettlebells, and- an 80 lb. workout sandbag with handles and constructed of 1050 Nylon Cordura.I really enjoy the awkward instability of the sandbag. It mimics the stresses of lifting things in the real world where things don’t always come with handles and live on shelves. Picking up a 200 lb. sandbag off the floor without using any handles is a true test of strength. That said, this Hyperwear strongman sandbag is very interesting.Unlike the other sandbags I have, this one is constructed of neoprene. I don’t know much about neoprene other than its use in wetsuits, pretty much. I was skeptical when I ordered it, but I was wrong. It’s absolutely strong enough to hold the sand. The neoprene is a little stretchy and much, much softer to the touch than nylon. Although this won’t have the abrasion resistance of the nylon cordura, don’t repeatedly slam this on rough concrete or anything, there’s no reason to think this sandbag won’t stand the test of time. This is especially true since the internal bag is constructed of 1000D nylon. It’s unique in its construction, so there isn’t really a good comparison, but it seems like a good value for what it is. I like it, and I’d definitely order it again.

This sandbag is well-made and should last a long time!
I recently got my hands on the HYPERWEAR Boulder Strongman Sandbag, and just like my experience with their steel bells, it's top-notch! To amp up the challenge, I filled it with two bags of play sand, each weighing 60lbs had little left over, A little DIY funnel made from an old milk plastic bottle did the trick perfectly. This sandbag is well-made and should last a long time for full-body fitness training, and I'm pumped to see the results it brings!
