Works fine
This is a simple fiber cleaver which produces good cuts in my testing. It is very small and comes with a fabric covered hard zippered enclosure for protection. There are very few adjustments - blade height, turn the blade, and adjusted the stop block. It does the job. The blade carriage locks in the back once the cleave is complete, probably to avoid striking the fiber twice, so it needs to be reset when you open the top. Higher end cleavers use a more automatic return so it’s like a push button, and they do something to avoid hitting the fiber again after a cleave. If you do a lot of fiber this extra step will be annoying. Also the fiber holder is fixed in the cleaver, so you have to line the fiber up with the cleaver open, then remove the fiber and put it into whatever fixture your splicer has. Again, additional steps, and getting the fiber into place will take a little more time.Great for beginners and those who rarely need this type of tool. The strippers are normal and work as expected. They don’t come with a bag or fit into the cleaver bag. Nice extra, you can never have too many of these so you can always throw one away if it starts messing up your fiber.

Easy to Use
Excellent product! It's sturdy but easy to use. The settings are basic in the best way, and the tool itself is made well enough that it will last long after I'm done using it.It cuts well, and it is small enough to store easily.

Nicely made tool.
I got this because I've been upgrading my home network to high speed fiber (my server has a 10g x4 fiber card) and I needed a way to cut and splice my 1000' roll of fiber. This is probably the best tool I've ever seen for doing this. When I took networking, we learned about token ring networks, so fiber is a lot of new stuff for me to learn. This tool is literally ideal for me being computer literate but a fiber newbie. It makes the job quite simple, and it's built amazingly well. Pretty much an essential tool for doing your own fiber line. 5 stars.
