These overlay patches work great for me. I'm a new Omnipod user and have already tried several different types of patches. These seem to work the best so far. I use IV prep wipes, apply the pod and the overlay patch with a little pressure (before inserting the cannula), and have no issues with them falling off - even if I bump them. I have sensitive skin and there is no redness or rash after I remove them after 2-3 days.

The patch resulted in a significant burn, not sure if is from the glue or the latex.

These waterproof patches to go over the Omnipod 5 are great! They'll definitely stay put for the 3 days you wear your pod. They'd be there for 7 if the pod didn't expire. Great for swimmers.

I've been using both the Omnipod 5 and Dash for several years now. Typically, the standard Omnipod adhesive works well for me (I usually wear them for the full 3 days plus the additional 8 hours). However, on warmer days when I play pickleball, I've noticed the Omnipod adhesive sometimes isn't strong enough, causing the pod to partially or completely detach, especially a few days into the pod. These overpatches have largely addressed that issue. They fit nicely, are easy to apply, and offer extra security. I haven’t had any issues with sensitivity to the adhesive, which is clear and similar to Tegaderm. However, on one occasion, despite using the overpatch, my pod came off. It was a warm day and I was sweating a lot, so for situations where I need maximum security, I plan to use a different overpatch.

I have purchased many different styles of adhesive patches for my 10 yr old's Omnipod. SO have been complete failures. Happily this one is NOT!!These funpatch Omnipod 5 Adhesive Patches Waterproof are the best we've found so far. They adhere well, are easy to use, and truly are waterproof. We have a pool and the kids swim every day. Now her pod stays on!

Cheaper quality, thin tape-like adhesive (similar to IV 3000 or Tegaderm Brand) only; not like the Pod Pals brand which is made with thicker cloth-like reinforced adhesive. I think they will still work better than having nothing, though.Another note of caution--the outside packaging stated "for CGM Sensors protection" but fortunately, the actual adhesive has the cutout shape that fits neatly over the pod, not any brand of CGM. Clearly mis-labeled. (Made in China).

These adhesive patches are latex free. They hold well for up to 14cdays. They're easy to use and are disposable. There are 30 patches in the package. The price seems reasonable too

These adhesive patches aren't the greatest quality, they're thin and they don't hold up very well in water as the edges start to lift and peel at even the slightest wetness. I would not purchase these again.
