absolutely high-quality engine oil. Used in many European cars from the factory.

Only oil recommended for my built subaru IAG block. Motul oil is hard to get and cant find in any retail shop. This shipped undamaged, sealed, no leaks. Cant complain but maybe seller can also have 8100 x-clean gen2 5w-40 since i may switch to that but its not sold in 5L bottles on amazon and the liter bottles would be much more expensive. IAG only recommends motul oil so that must mean something since they are leaders in building subaru race motors

This oil is a great product and last for a full year of driving before I have it changed.

Put this in my 2013 VW Passat TDI with the 2.0L CKRA engine. Seems to work just fine. No complaints.

Used this on my 2001 E46 BMW. I now use the same oil on my VW CC. I also use it on my wife's 2003 Accord V6. I recommend for all cars, especially European cars. Just make sure you buy the right grade for yours!!!

This oil is the Motul 8100 X-Clean + which has an approval listed on the bottle for the VW 507 00 spec (must have the plus sign). There is a similar product - 8100 with no plus sign - that does not meet the 50700 spec. With no picture, I wasn't sure until I ordered it but this is it. Also, the 4X5L in the title is confusing - I received one 5 liter container which is exactly what I needed.

For my application it's going to take 3 containers to do 2 oil changes. That's $75 plus the filter for an oil change that I do myself. Note that these are not 4 quart containers, but they do have a nice pull up reclosable spout. Hope the stuff is worth it, and will probably never know if it's any better than Mobil 1 in my application.
