I Great Blender For The Price!
I love this portable blender! It works great! I love the anti-jam feature. Ive never seen a blender with that feature! This product is very durable. I also love that the blender cup has a screw on lid for the bottom, to use it as a cup. The battery life could be better. But overall, I love it!This seller is quick with replies, if you have any questions or problems.

Better Than a Blender Bottle
I purchased this to make fruit-based protein shakes when I travel. I've used it more than a dozen times now, and here is what I've found:Portability: While I have a large backpack, this is only 25% larger than my 40 oz. insulated tumbler, so it packs pretty well. I easily fit it on a checked bag. I'm unsure of how well it will fly in a carry-on due to the blades. I'll update the review one I try it.Battery Life: I can get 3-4 good blends out of this before it needs to be charged, which is fine by me. I do like driving with the base on because I can blend if materials settle to quickly mix things up.Cleanability: The instruction manual says to not leave the blending base on for long periods of time (meaning don't keep liquid on it for too long -- probably to prevent water damage over time). So I typically don't drink with the blender base on. It comes with a base cap that you swap. The blender base is easy to rinse quickly after use, but you have to be careful not to get it too wet. The cup and components aren't dishwasher safe, so just rinse them out immediately after use. They're wide enough to use a scrubber if anything gets stuck on.Blending: It does better than a blender bottle, meaning I can create smoothies as long as I have enough liquid. It doesn't fully blend ice cubes (but does pretty good with pebble ice). It also doesn't fully blend berries (blueberries, strawberries, etc.) so you'll have some chunks and skins at the bottom. I've found that the order in which you stack the ingredients is important, with heavier items at the bottom and lighter at the top. One unexpected thing is that this blender froths the protein shakes a lot, so overall volume is increased to a surprising amount, and makes the shake appealingly "frothy".

Works Nicely, But . . . .
This little blender does a good job blending any kind of frozen fruit with a couple of ice cubes, six ounces of water, whey powder, ground flax seeds, and 1/3 cup of yogurt. it does a decent job if the ingredients are put in in the correct order. Liquids on the bottom. Powders not on bottom and not on top.To get this blender to start you have to line-up the arrow on the bottom part--just above the start button--with the arrow on the cup holding all the ingredients. This is very difficult and takes a lot of muscle. Getting the two pieces apart takes more muscle.I have two other portable blenders. One is a Kitchen Aid which is terrific, but bulky and expensive. The other is a Blendjet that also works well, but comes with a small cup and also seems expensive, but is very portable. This one is a good inexpensive choice if you have lots of muscles.
