Holds phone sturdy
I have this installed on my YZF R1. I like that it u phone sturdy and securely. In addition, the on/off switch is useful so the charger can still charge your phone while the bike is off. The only downside that is that you can potentially drain your bikes battery if you leave it on for too long while the bike is off. The charger does illuminate green while on so it makes it easier to detect when on. However, the green light is harder to see in bright daylight since the sunlight washes it out. Overall, the charger is a great value as it has secured my phone at over 160mph.Update: I got more wireless charging stuff around my house and office so I decided to by a new phone case that has the buil-in "magsafe" ring and this charger will not charge the phone through the case. I have tried multiple magsafe cases and none of them charge while in the mount. It sucks because I love the mount, but will probably end up swapping it for a different one if I can't find a resolution.

Well designed and convenient
The media could not be loaded. I just installed this Phone Mount on my '02 BMW K1200 LT. I drilled a 3/4" hole in the "stingray" (the console) and used a Brass Bulkhead Fitting as a receiver for the Stem Ball Base. This should provide a solid support. I wired the charger directly to the battery. It will be nice not to have to plug the phone in to a charging cable every time I start up - especially because I use a GPS app and music player which drain the phone battery rapidly if not on charger. The strictly ornamental bright green light on the charger stays on when the phone is removed from the cradle. Upon close inspection of the backside of the cradle I discovered an inconspicuous unlabeled power switch that will shut off the light and charger (as indicated by the pen in the photo) when not in use.I wrapped the threads of the body side of the ball socket with Teflon tape to protect them. I am running this on a bike that is never intentionally off pavement. I am somewhat skeptical that this holder would stand up to the abuse an off-road bike would dish out.Update: I just finished a 2500 mile ride - all pavement. I'm very pleased with the performance of this phone holder. Just need to be sure to turn the unit off when parked.

Junk
Never had a problem with the first one I bought for my other bike… it suddenly died…. Then ordered another one and it was dead out of the box… ordered a replacement for the dead one…. And it’s not working either 😂

Sturdy, fits galaxy z fold with mods
Overall happy with the purchase. This was mounted in an off road vehicle. With modification this mount will fit a galaxy z fold with a thick case. Surprisingly it also charges wirelessly through the case (at about 3W). Had to bend the metal arms forward and add some spacers to the button in the middle. So far it's held up to 2 days on rough trails at high speed. The mount didn't get loose and the phone never felt like it was going to fall out.Powered from 24 volts I couldn't get the USB port to give me 9v. Successfully got 5v at 3A and 12v at 1.2A using the PD standard.UPDATE:200mi off-road use in the dessert. Mount still holds strong. The mechanism that moves the arms gets quite a bit of sand in it and tends to lock up. No longer one handed operation to mount the phone. With effort it does still lock securely.
