It does record
OK I personally find this type of toys pretty annoying really, but my child adores it. This toy has many songs, they are not full songs only approximately 15 seconds of the song. The cactus toy does dance and does lit up. However when it comes to lighting up it has only one standard white light, or at least it looks white. I think toy can be finished a bit better visually.The sound quality is not great, it is quite loud but sound itself is somewhat distorted. But this does not get in a way of my child and she does not care how it sounds really.Cactus does record and repeat recording so it might appeal to children.All in all, it does what it says, for the price that it is sold at present I think it is reasonable. But just would like it would have a tad better finish visually, as such small gaps might be of interest to young children and I do not really know what their small fingers might find in that "planter".

My dog loves this and his reactions when it imitates his barks and squeaks makes me belly laugh.
