Was concerned that this would not be dark enough or that the color would be fairly poorly dyed. I soaked the sand in some water (very fine grade) and the sand didnt immediately want to absorb the water. I dumped the whole bag in a 5 gallon bucket and filled about halfway up with water and this did the trick. The water did not get any dye pulled off of the sand. This would be great for adding to epoxy, Zuni sand paintings, or any number of usages. Would recommend. Good price for the quantity and quality of the sand. It is also very dense when in water so will see how the fish like it.

This sand is a beautiful color and a lot of fun. We mixed it with traditional play sand to make it go further since it’s costly for a small amount. Plan to wash your kids and their clothes after playing in it though! It has washed out of clothes for us, but I haven’t tried white yet.

Nice packaging and easy to clean. Sands won’t stick on hands and hard to clean. You can see the layer nice and won’t mix with other sands like other brand

I bought this colored sand in two colors for 2 sand boxes. The grandsons loved it. One box was enough to fill the Little Tykes sandbox for plenty of playtime without a lot of clean up from overflow.

Title of product says "SANDTASTIK PRODUCTS INC. COL25LBBOXPUR 25 LB BOX OF Light Blue SAND- 11.34kg" yet the sand I got was a very DARK PURPLE. Wouldn't care so much if it weren't so expensive plus shipping. Could have gotten it cheaper if I didn't specifically want the LIGHT BLUE color. *sigh* Don't trust the title.

We filled a sandbox with this. Beautiful but very expensive.

I order this for Vase arrangements of a wedding , the sand is true to color it even had a hint of glitter in it made it look spectacular, I even had sand left over after filling 10 vases
