Excellent and well made
It's hard to leave a detailed review of a book like this because it's almost like a textbook. This is a great tool for helping children with dyslexia. I like that it is also using the specialized font that was made for people with dyslexia because it means they were attentive in the production process of this book. I will be encouraging some people I know who have access to teachers to buy this book.

A Helpful Resource for Struggling Readers
As a parent of a child with dyslexia, I am always on the lookout for resources to support their reading development. This book offers a structured and systematic approach that is easy to follow and implement. The multisensory activities make learning engaging and interactive, which I appreciate. While it may not be a quick fix, I can see how the progressive learning approach can benefit struggling readers in the long run. Overall, I'm cautiously optimistic about the potential impact of this 8-week plan on my child's reading skills.

OG approach book to help struggling readers
This topic is near and dear to my heart as I have 3 kids with dyslexia who are in 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades. I am always looking for ways to help them and extra resources they can practice reading. OG is absolutely the way to go for kids with dyslexia. This book has 8 weeks worth of lessons systematically progressing with reading "rules" like the silent E, CVC words, digraphs, vowel teams, blends, etc. I really like the reading passages and then the activities that follow to make sure the student is truly grasping the concept, for example of "silent E." There is also practice with reading comprehension, which is often hard for kids who struggle to read because they are using so much brain power to try to read they often lose the comprehension. I am giving this 4stars because I think this is geared more for late 1st-2nd grade readers, definitely not K. This would be hard for K and the description on amazon includes K. Overall, a great book and wonderful practice for kids who struggle. Thank you!
