Sizzix Surfacez-Shrink Plastic 663052, 10 Pack, Multi Colour, One Size, Frosted, 20.96 x 7.3 x 1 cm

This is the first time I have bought shrink plastic and I have to say that I LOVE it . You can use an oven to shrink it . (I used 190⁰c but 150⁰c would still work)If you want to make charms or earring make sure to hole punch the shrink plastic and cut out the shape BEFORE it goes in the oven. To put it in the oven, you can place some baking paper on an oven tray and place the shrink plastic onto it. Make sure to keep on eye on the plastic while it is in the oven as it does not take long to shrink ,it may curl up while shrinking but that is part of the process . It will flatten out but once it is taken out of the oven ,to make sure it will be extra flat ,add some weight ontop of it like a book whilst covering the plastic in baking paper.Also if there are some pointy or sharp edges in your design after the plastic is ,you may want to file it down to a smooth point so it would not cause injuries or scratches .One side is glossy and the other is not ,so you could paint the non glossy side in acrylic or use mod podge to make it glossy as well.

These are the best I've purchased off Amazon. I bought both the white and the transparent, and love both. I read in other reviews that some people had issues with the plastic not flattening back out after baking, but I didn't have this problem. Everything flattened out beautifully after baking, and the biggest win in my book was that they stayed soft for about 20 seconds after baking so you could manipulate anything that changed shape. That's a real winner for me. I make earrings out of these, and they look GREAT. Will be buying in all colors again.

Absolutely amazing - made for some great xmas gifts, although I did have to do some research with the temperature of the oven and how long to bake them for. Perhaps place some instructions with the packaging to make it easier to use but other than that, amazing quality and definition! Used sharpies with mine and they turned out great!

Just what I wanted but heating instructions not great. So have had to figure it out myself and some havn’t worked out great but it’s all part of the fun

Works brilliantly, only criticism is I had to look up a bake temp on the internet, couldn’t find one in the pack?! May just be me being stupid but did check many times.

Kids live this stuff, it's amazing to watch it shrink and they have lots of meetings now.
