This pick-up style crawler looks like a Toyota and really performs admirably. I'd consider this an entry level model and a great one at that. The truck has real 4wheel drive and a suspension system that lets the truck sway and bounce very realistically over the terrain. This is not designed for bashing and doesn't have a very fast speed rate. But it does have more torque than other models its size and when paired with the accurate proportional steering makes for a really fun truck to take to the playground, park, flower bed etc. The metal frame gives it weight and the coil over suspension does a great job of absorbing the bumps and simulating a more realistic experience. Charging took 1.5hrs and the 30-minute runtime per pack is great since you get two. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was that as capable as this is, even though the frame is metal, the swingarms and other parts of the suspension are plastic. Which although feel durable would cause me worry to try any paths that might cause more than a 3-foot fall. Also, the fact that the doors don't open makes it a bit more difficult if you want to add a removable FPV camera like I enjoy doing. All in all, a very fun truck that will let you turn almost any rough area into a fun crawler patch.

This is a hard body scale crawler that delivers good overall scale looks with a leaf spring design in the rear and a 4 link in the front. The brushed motor is adequate and for the price it makes for a good entry level crawler. The body is durable and it does come with scale add one. The battery compartment is under the hood and the shocks are dry so that being said there's room for upgrades. If yore new to crawling this a contender...it being inexpensive, scale, and easy to upgrade makes it perfect for someone unsure if they indeed like the particular hobby. Or if it's for a younger person with little experience in rc scale rigs. Just to mention this isn't a speedy rc truck, it's intended for crawling so top speed is not excessive.
