Works Very Well
I bought it to clone my son's 256 GB SSD to a 1TB SSD. The source drive had 7 GB free and was causing his computer to run slowly and occasionally crash. The LCD screen was of great help. I forgot to put the heatsink that came with the destination drive on and the transfer was taking forever. I looked on the LCD screen and saw that the drive was throttling at 99°C. I put the heatsink on and an hour or so later the drive was cloned. Very easy to setup. Fast 1gigabyte per second speed in other words great performance. I used the usb c to a connector as his pc had no usb c ports. The drive fit easily into the enclosure and it looks good. Connectivity as said was good. Worth the price in my opinion.

Below Average Product
I would not recommend this product.Took me 3 different computers to test this. It was not always detected by them.Speeds are really slow (even slower than using an HDD).The LCD is a great idea, but the information in it never changes (even during read/write operations).

Very nice enclosure!
High quality enclosure. Very easy to install M.2 nVME SSDs . I installed and successfully used 128GB, 256 GB anf 512 GB 2230 sizes and 2280 size SSDs. Each has worked well enough for my application. I am happy to have the clear high quality construction enclosure for my SSDs that is very easy to open and change out the SSD when desired. Works efficiently although I've not checked out performance at all--just functionality with my applications.

Your mileage may differ
I read all the reviews and decided to try this anyway as the temp read out was important to me. As others have stated the manual was absolutely useless in letting me know how this went together. I may seem like a no brainier but once you start to put it together, you have many questions, such as where the silicon pads go, do the cooling groves face up or down, do you screw the metal cooling panel on to the top before or after you put the top back on. If it is after, how do you get the panel in place to actually get the screw into the hole and finally, how are the cooling pads supposed to transfer heat to the cooling panel if the two do not even make contact? So many questions and design flaws. Ultimately what caused me to return this case was the fast that none of the data on the screen was present, only the icon were there. So my main reason for buying this was lost. Maybe you will have better luck or the may fix the issues, but I am not certain that this company even tests their designs with real people using this.

Handy but not perfect (ShuoLe M.2 NVMe SSD Enclosure with LCD Screen)
This is a really great idea that nearly delivers. A status screen is most welcome but the LCD is tiny and low contrast. Additionally, some of the segments didn't work making the voltage and run time portions mostly useless. The housing is a soft plastic and scratched immediately. The display shows stats from the NVMe module itself. The enclosure works well but I saw some spurious disconnects and reconnects in use. However it was quick and easy to use to image a new NVMe SSD for an upgrade.

Nice NVME Enclosure. Love the LCD screen
I love clear tech and devices with status screens. This fits both of those things. This is a nice enclosure and worked right out of the box. I like the status screen. I put in a used drive and it was able to read the smart data and it would show power cycles, power on hours, Data written, and health percentage. This has some great diganotice data that could be useful when work on computers. The few things that are not as good. The clear case seems a little on the cheap side and will probably scratch easily. I going to leave the plastic peel on mine as long as I can. On my using the board was not seat properly so the usb-c port was not fully seated in the slot that the cable pass through cause the cable to disconnect easily. After a few tries I was able to get the board installed properly and now the cable fits snugly. lastly the screen font is very small so its hard to read the titles for each block of data. But once you know what each block is for you don't need to read the titles. Overall I love this gadget for its screen and clear case. Even with its issues I would buy this just to keep on the workbench for the diag screen alone.

Works fine, small display characters
Works OK for me, display has very small text that is hard to read. USB-C port on device is easy to knock out disconnecting the drive, suggest using a right angle cable. Be sure to use a high speed USB port such as USB3 or better for fastest speeds. Front panel ports may not be USB3, so if it's slow try using it on known USB3 ports on the rear of the motherboard.

Very Useful - High Speed
I love having the drive health info at a glance on the display. Especially the connection speed - it’s often difficult or impossible to see the actual USB speed you’re connected at! This device lets you see if a cable or dock is limiting your transfer speeds. The other metrics are great indicators of drive health and wear. Note that it isn’t aware of capacity, but total write volume. I verified speeds up to USB 3.1 and everything works great! Only small issues I had were that the rubber stopper provided to hold the drive in place didn’t work, I had to just push the disk down while sliding the cover on. I much prefer actual screws to hold down M.2 drives, but this didn’t feel like it would damage the drive. The second is that the plastic feels like it will be very prone to scratches when thrown in a bag as I plan to do. I’ll update the review with photos if it gets noticeably bad. Overall this is a great external enclosure with modern speeds and useful extra features. Highly recommended!
