Pros:-The Pine tar soap smells great- Far fewer ingredients than commercial soaps- Great lathering- Feel clean without feeling stripped of all natural oilsCons:- Pricey for amount- Weight discrepancies (less than labeled weight)- Soap is soft out of box, needs time to fully set up and cure- Oatmeal can have some sharp edges as the soap wears downHelpful tips:- Cut bars in half (I used dental floss, cuts easy), I got an extra week out of each bar by doing this.- Buy more than one at a time, place unused bars in dry place to cure before use, this helps harden soap. I got an extra two weeks out of my second, third, and subsequent bars compared to the first.-Remove from damp area immediately after use, if the soap stays wet 24/7 it will fall apart within a few days. Get a soap holder that keeps soap out of water and allows air on all sides.

So after seeing all of the awesome and hilarious YouTube commercials about this soap (and running out of Dove), I decided to try out this brand and see the results.You know you have GREAT soap when you can smell it two feet away WHILE it's in the box. And after washing with this, I'm EXTREMELY IMPRESSED and I've never FELT so clean. Other soaps try to SMELL good first, but this one, my skin felt smooth.What I love most is the LATHER you get with this soap and it foams up WELL. So well that you can wash your entire body with the first lather. I used an exfoliating glove with this and that worked great. Just wet your hands, and rub the bar a bit and you'll get a very nice lather.A little forewarning: You might feel inclined to rub the bar all over your body like normal soap. You can, but you will run out very quickly if you do.When I wash again later tonight, I'll cut a small chunk and see how long it lasts. And update this review. Other than that, highly recommend this to guys who are constantly active, or just want to smell AND feel clean.

One of two companies I only buy soap from great on any kind of skin, smells great, awesome will remove motor oils, paint, debris off skin leaving the skin feeling great.

Smells good but does stain the bathtub and the bar sometimes crumbles a bit.

Exfoliates and moisturizes very good. Better than old spice / synthetic soap

Smells amazing and is super lathery

I used to LOVE Dr. Squatch’s Pine Tar soap. It was my go to - Every morning I’d lather it up in my hands and inhale to aroma for while to awaken my senses before proceeding with my shower. The crisp and vivid pine smell made it feel as if I was standing in the middle of a forest! It appears, however that they have updated the Pine Tar recipe and it is now a watered-down pine aroma with a nasty perfume element to it, like most of their other soaps. Unless they change back, I will be searching out other brands.

I love this soap I have been using this sent for years and I personally love it. It will leave you feeling clean with our drying out your skin to much and it lasts about the average duration of a regular bar of soap highly recommend this product
