I’ve purchased Hobby Lobby yarn in the past, and while a great option, I spent nearly $60 on eight of them to make a large blanket (for reference, I’m 5’11). I purchased 2 of these 8 packs for under $50 and I’m IN LOVE! You can find better if you want to spend more money, but this is a GREAT option if you’re wanting to find an affordable and very soft product.I have had to throw it in the wash due to my dog and I can confirm that it held up in the washer and dryer. It can run thin sporadically in spots, but that was only noticeable to me while making the blanket. The 16 I used goes from my shoulders to the floor and is as wide as my arm span (folded over the couch in the photo)! Highly recommend this product for a great bargain!

Easy too work with, super soft and loved the color... I am a beginner so I had some technical difficulties but a friend took over the work ... just gorgeous

I bought 8 packs of the white, dark green, light blue, purple, dark purple, black, charcoal gray, sage and pink, and khaki and I have now used the white, dark green , khaki, sage and both purples and every single skein has multiple bald spots and is terrible and not very fluffy even after being fluffed. I really should send all of this yarn back and get back my over $300.00 purchase….. feeling extremely disappointed.

This was my first time making a blankie because I watched a video and believed I could. The yarn is easy to work with (even for a first timer) and one package comes with plenty for the price. It’s soft, thick, warm and a little heavy (in a good way)!! I love it and I will definitely be purchasing more. The colors are awesome and I’m sure the mommy to be will love this for her and her new baby girl!

I ordered this to make a large chunky blanket, I made the blanket and this yarn is very poor quality. Each scain had 1 - 2 knots in it. Besides being thinner then other 8 oz scains, once you got into each one the yarn was even thinner in spots, where the string was visible Very disappointed with the yarn, would not recommend.
