This M.2 heatsink was effective, came with a screw driver and thermal pads to transfer heat from the memory stick to the heat sink. I like the two toned color and textured top. I’m sure it will keep my high density M.2 memory stick cooler than without. The memory stick I had fit nice and snuggled in the enclosure insuring a great thermal contact to dissipate the heat effectively. Looks cool in my rig with a glass plate showing off the innards of the build.

The 990 Pro (4TB in my case), would reach temps over 90c in my SFF case (Fractal Terra). This cooler reduced the temps almost by 50%! It's fairly slim, and the fan isn't too loud at 50% speeds and the temps at that speed are more than good. This is a must have for any bare SSD that gets over 80c in my opinion. It covers the back and the front has thermal pads for both sides. Very good kit that comes with everything you need.

This WAVLINK NVMe heatsink kit offers good quality components and good fit for most SSDs. The heatsink plates and included silicon thermal pads are effective at dissipating heat, and I noticed a little drop in my NVMe SSD's temperature.However, my main concern lies with the rubber band mounting system. While it's a simple solution, it doesn't provide the same level of secure, tight connection as a screw-based mounting mechanism. I feel like the contact between the heatsink and the SSD could be improved with a more robust attachment method.The heatsink plate and thermal pads themselves are excellent, and I wish the kit included some form of restraint clip or screw-based system instead of the rubber bands. If the mounting system were improved, this would easily be a five-star product. As it stands, it's a quick good option for those looking to cool down their NVMe SSDs, but be aware of the rubber band limitation.

Great price for the amount of memory

11/16/2024 : I have used two adapters on two devices for a few weeks now, using this little fan+heatsink to keep the adapter cool, and it has been completely quiet, and successfully kept the temps at a degree I am comfortable with. Avoid heat, heat kills, especially consumer grade products.

Seemed like a great deal. Turned out to be brass, not copper.
