Smart TV Box 4G+64GB H96 Max Android 11.0 RK3318 Quad-Core with 2.4G WiFi 4K Ultra HD H.265 Streaming Media Player

Purchased this TV box to replace an Android PC on a stick that I had used for a number of years. This was a big step up. The unit was pretty easy to set up and very zippy. I tested it with some high res movies in an SD chip and it played well, with crisp images and reasonable sound (no detectable artifacts in the video). I also tested the web connection and Netflix and it seems to work pretty well. No lag (have a FiOs connection)...My only gripe is that the unit uses 10 watts (5v @ 2A), using a small power brick... I would've been nice if there was a way to power through micro USB, or if they offered a USB to barrel connector, alongside the power brick... Since I am most likely to use the unit when I travel, it would be nice to be able to get power from my own higher amperage multiple port USB power brick, than use their proprietary power brick... (I guess I can make one to fit the requirement....)

Had the H96Max for less then a month. Was stuck on Logo screen when I went to restart. Didnot get to Amazon about the issue till after 30 days. Amazon said I had to go thru manufacturer to get issue resolved. Amazon did nothing to help solve the issue and would not offer me a refund. Contacted The Dealer Drizzy. Here it is 4 months later with no resolution. Will never buy anything from this dealer ever again nor will a recommend them to anyone. Amazon did nothing for me to resolve this matter. Im going to Capital One Shopping from now on. Sick of poor service from Amazon and there so called dealers. Would have given Amazon the the dealer ZERO if it was possible. TERRIBLE.

First be it known that I bought this box to play android games and not so much for media use, with that in mind my review will not be entirely directed at this products intended use.As a media box this this thing works as it should and it works well. Watching videos from Youtube to Netflix and other video apps such as HGTV work wonderfully with little no issues.But I bought this box with the intent to play games. The interface is great for media purposes but not for gaming and any other purposes, so the first thing I did was replace the launcher with the Microsoft launcher(screenshot attached with review) which can be found in the Playstore.As well as playing games I also decided to see if I could possibly use this as a pc and loaded your typical programs, such as a calc, email, browser, some google apps. Most apps work great and I've had little issue at all with using any apps. Even MS Word works, but of course I went with Googles online Docs.Games are a hit and miss. Since there is no touch screen interface to this, you either use your remote or some other input. I use a wired mouse, wired keyboard and a bluetooth Xbox One controller to use this box. Not all games will recognize the mouse, keyboard or controller. Some games rotate to a potrait mode but of course I'm using a TV so that doesn't work out well at all. So, many games simply just are not suitable for use on this. But there are quite a few that do work. The biggest problem I had was with some graphic intensive games. They suffered greatly from video lag.Overall this works great for a media box and very well for kind of home PC and not too bad for playing games.

Works great. Remote not so good. However when used with a wireless keyboard easy to control. NO buffering dual band wifi to use on the high speed side if the wifi. 4 times more memory than the firestick. Has 8 times the storage. Superuser access. Google play store. Load pretty much any app on this gadget. Highly recommended. It is made in China but works great.

There is no hard button on the box. No reset button everything is on the remote. So I have an issue it wasen't responding from the remote . I always have to disconnect the power when I wanna use it to reset. That is not good . And the device keep searching for a long time when I want to watch a movie.

Cumple las expectativas

Out of hundreds of boxes and days of research I came across this box and thought this was much better then the rest of them, but once I received the device it would not turn on. I spent more money to get a better product but this box proved me wrong. I tried multiple outlet no luck. I got a broken back too so It was really disappointing that I kept moving around and now I have to take it back to ups for return. Don't waste your time on this product. I Don't write reviews but when I do, its either because I got the best product or the worst one no minimum.

So far it is working seamlessly. Very happy with product.
