Solid and versatile stove, but not ultralight
After a rough start, this stove is winning me over with its solid build and multi-fuel capability. For some reason the first time I used it (with propane) it was almost impossible to regulate. It was either a raging inferno (see pic), which was a little scary, or it was sputtering and starving for fuel. I can only assume there was some kind of debris lodged in the valve, because eventually it cleared up and started burning perfectly. I boiled a kettle of water without further problems and since then it has worked fine. When I tried it recently with isobutane it burned steady and hot.I would hesitate to call this a backpacking stove. Surprisingly heavy for a compact stove, it seems built to last, but it would definitely add significant heft to a through-hiker’s pack. That said, fit and finish is good and the folding feet provide excellent stability. The arms that fold out to support cookware are similarly strong and stable, though for narrow items such as my Stanley pot it requires the arms to be folded in over the burners. A swing-away ignition switch makes lighting the stove dead simple. The included case is also very nice, well-padded and protective, and with a secure zipper closure.Having fittings for three different fuel types is really useful and much appreciated. Ironically though, the included (poorly translated) instructions say that the stove should only burn isobutane. Regardless, propane does work fine. I have yet to try straight butane, but I have no reason to doubt that will also burn with no problem. One complaint I do have is that with both fuel types I have used, I have experienced fuel leakage both while threading on and unthreading. While this is not a major problem, it did waste some fuel and made my fingers extremely cold. I have not had that issue when attaching other stoves or heaters to either type of fuel canister, so it seems to be something specific to these fittings. If not for that flaw I would rate this stove five stars. All in all it is a good little stove, if not exactly an ultralight. For the correct purposes – day hikes, winter sled campouts, car camping when space is limited, etc. – it does the job admirably.

Feels very well made, but heavy
This is a very nice little stove. Not something I've ever recommend to an ultralight backpacker, but a very nice stove. The legs form a very wide base. This combined with the low center of gravity, and you have a near untippable little stove. The pot holder arms also swing out very wide, allowing for many sizes of pots to be used. However, something as slender as the little Stanley pot that comes with the two plastic cups, that size is too small to use if the arms are out. You can keep them folded in, but this will likely be less efficient. Though the arms do have holes through them, you'd still be blocking a considerable part of the flame.Upon first use, I left the isobutane connector unchanged and screwed on a canister. I'm not sure if this was a result of the canister threads, or the adapter's threads, but it took a bit of extra effort to fully seat the canister to the seal. I reached under the stove and swung out the stowable igniter button, opened the valve a touch on the gas, and clicked the igniter. It instantly lit with a hearty roar of flame. Maybe it's just me, but I felt like the gas valve was very sensitive, allowing for micro-adjustments of the flow rate. I felt like I had a lot of control over the flame with it.I had been looking for a multi-fuel stove, since you never really know what you'll be able to find.I also really wanted one that could do propane for those colder months. The fact that this one uses a hose to connect the fuel is a big benefit. With it, you don't have to worry about how big the canister is, the stove isn't any less stable. The included case is a great addition. It's one of those rigid nylon types that hold their shape and prevent the contents from being crushed. An excellent bit of protection when stuffing into a bag.So far I'm very happy with the stove. The weight is the only thing that would keep me from taking this on every backpacking trip. I'll certainly be taking it in the colder months to use with propane.

Super flexible; super stable
I switched to this stove after using the type that screws straight onto the bottle for years. The problem with that old kind is it's so unstable when you put a pan on it. I bought this CretFine to get a more stable set-up, and it's been perfect. It's very solid on a wonky N.P. picnic table, or right on the ground. As with all these camp stoves, it gets way hotter than I need, and is hard to get low enough to simmer rice. But I CAN get it that low, and the wind hasn't blown it out yet. If I accidentally drop mine in a lake, I'll buy it again.

Great camp stove, comes with its own case, and adapters for any fuel
this is a great camp stove. Very compact, but very useful, even with large pans. They have included a carrying case, and one of each type of the fuel adapters. That way you can choose whichever gas you prefer, not just What the stove demands. and, the adapters work on almost any other camp stove out there. This camp stove is very easy to set up and use, and it is very durable. It has a nice stainless steel braided fuel line, to keep your fuel tank as far away from the flame as possible. Just fold out the legs, and the pan supports, Make sure the gas valve is turned off, and screw the can of gas on. Then, just push the ignite button. it fires up right away, every time. The flame is plenty hot enough, and fairly efficient, as do not burn through all your gas too quickly. You can actually get away with using the same kind of gas for quite a while, as long as you don't only cook on high. it is very adjustable, it goes from very low, to way too high. Really cool product, looks exactly like it is supposed to, and they included extras. Highly recommended.

This is a useful stove and is pretty tough. Only thing is that it isn't really a backpacking stove. More like a car camping stove or something for emergencies. Decent stove though. Nice to have multiple fuel sources
