Super convenient!
Review of Newer Wyze Scale X:I've recently got my hands on the newer Wyze Scale X but I also own the older Wyze Scale I bought Jan 2021 so I am leaving that review below as well. Functionally it is about the same as the older Wyze Scale, although it touts a longer battery life, heart rate, and a baby/pet/luggage mode. Physically it is roughly the same weight, has a glass top, and otherwise seems fairly similar to the original with some differences. I actually really like the changes made to it as it looks more sleek and premium now with there being two black lines straight across on the top and bottom and the removal of the tacky silver emblem that used to be in the middle.Value: Its (currently) the same price as the original wyze scale, works just as well, has minor but still positive changes, and looks much better. I would say it has some pretty good value. For those just interested in a run of the mill scale without any extra bells and whistles, a cheapo scale from any discount store would work for you. But for anyone looking for a smart scale that tracks your weight/bmi for you, collects bonus info, and can connect to fitbit, this is a great choice.Review of Older Wyze Scale:(10/2022 Update) I purchased this 1/2021 and it is still working well. It makes a high pitched sound now when I step on it but I spent 2021-2022 traveling almost every month and its been through quite a beating the entire time. It still works well aside from the sound. Although the older Wyze Scale is listed in the comparison chart not to be able to measure heart rate, it actually can but you have to select it in the app and stand on it longer than typical as it takes it (making it a hassle enough that I never use it).(Original Review from 2021) I've been using this scale for maybe a month now and it has been terrific. My roommates have used it unknowingly to me and their weights do not appear on my app because it is able to tell the difference, which is super great! It looks very premium and is a super good price, especially since many normal scales that aren't smart cost exactly the same if not more at other stores. Personally, I don't trust any information provided by ANY smart scale aside from weight and BMI simply based on how the technology has not advanced far enough yet but the attempts to calculate an entire screen full of details is admirable. I also recently got a fitbit and it is very nice that this app has fitbit integration. You do need to open the Wyze app to sync the weights onto your phone (and thus fitbit) but I do it every few days and its fine. You also do need to open the Wyze app as you are standing on the scale in order for it to measure your heart rate. I did it a few times when I first got it, and it appears to be fairly accurate but I found it a little annoying to have to open the app every time to just do it especially since I set my phone down to avoid having its weight added to mine, also my fitbit tracks my heart rate already. That being said, heart rate isn't important for me at all for a scale, but its Really nice that it has that function built it, feels much more premium.

High Tech Scale
The WYZE scale is very sleek and modern looking. It was very easy to hook it up to the app. Accuracy is very good. Weights are recorded on a chart in the app.It also has the ability to weigh a baby, pet and even your luggage. You can also take your heart rate. Very impressive for a mid priced bathroom scale.Highly recommend…

Accurate and extensive health parameter readings.
Good and accurate scale and provides a lot of health information. However, the software needs to be improved some, since it seems to me a little "half cooked" as it compares to other scales software that we have for the Fitbit and Omron scales. However, it costs half as much than these two others.

I like it you can just weigh yourself right there
I like the brightness and the build quality and the accuracy and it does a good job by the way with the weight to and the ease of use and it looks very good.

It came with batteries ... and ads.
As far as a scale goes, it does great at that. If you stand on it, it will tell you how much you weigh. If you stand on it barefoot it will use some neat sensors to also tell you a bunch of neat stats like BMI, body fat and body water percentages, and some other random stuff that might be of interest to you. Note that only the weight and body fat percentage are displayed on the built-in screen after you're done weighing yourself (which is pretty fast, it takes about 4 seconds) and all the other data requires the mobile app.Let's talk about the mobile app. On the positive side, it works for what I needed it to: it runs on iPhone and it automatically syncs the data from the scale to Apple Health. Wonderful! Not so wonderful though is the fact that it's got ads in it sometimes. They're not there all the time though. I've had the thing for about two months and I've only seen one, but it was a doozy. I touched the scale icon to bring up the scale's readings and suddenly the screen had a full-page ad for some other product from this company. More annoyingly, it didn't have a way to quit out of it. There was no X or anything, just a link to the product page, which I refused to click. If you have this problem, just go back to your home screen, bring up the task switcher, and swipe away the app to force close it. When I came back after forcing it to quit, the ad was gone and it didn't come back. For that reason I've taken a star off the overall product, but otherwise it's honestly a terrific scale, especially for the price. Lots of information that can be helpful for keeping track of health stats, and I was impressed that it came with batteries. I'd stupidly assumed it would have a rechargeable battery so when I looked at the packaging and read that it needed AAAs I thought "Oh no, I don't even HAVE batteries around anymore. Now I've got to go to the store." But right next to it was the word "included" and I was immediately overjoyed. It's one of those little things that companies don't do anymore, but when they include everything you need to use the thing you paid for right out of the box, that's a heartwarming moment.I wholeheartedly recommend this scale, but with the caveat that there are apparently some ads in the app. I don't know if they'll become more frequent as time goes on -- I worry they might -- but for now, provided it's only once every two months, I'm very happy with the whole product, especially at the price.

Better than Withings
Another amazing Wyze product. Much better than my old waiting’s scale and way lower cost than their newer models.
