Exactly what I needed!
These 8-40 plugs perfectly fit my Marlin 336 scope mount screw holes. They were perfectly machined and matched the color of the receiver top as closely as could be expected. Blue loctite would be recommended to prevent bolt lockup.

Perfect for your 10/22. Fit properly and don't protrude into the receiver. Used a little blue loctite to make sure they don't move.

Fits Mark IV 22/45 SSH
These screws fit the Mark IV 22/45 SSH. Though YOU MUST USE THREAD LOCKER, as there is no bottom to some of the optic mounting holes in the upper. If you screw them in too deep (or if they vibrate deeper), the bottom of the screw can rub on the bolt. They should sit flush with the top of the upper. You can remove the upper and bolt to make sure they aren't screwed in too deeply. Very happy with the quality of these screws overall (though they're a bit overpriced).

Black finish chipped with flathead screw-driver upon installation, thus 4 stars. As another reviewer mentioned, perfect fit for receiver holes on an early 90's 10-22.
