Incredible sound
Was running Rockford Fosgate 6x9 components up front for about a year and never cared or was impressed by their sound... So decided about a week ago to sell the Rockfords and get these infinity reference 6x9 components.....OMG! The sound is AMAZING! IF I knew then what I know now, I would of NEVER wasted my money on Rockford components. The sound quality and staging are on another level... These are definitely on the same stage as Focal and Alpine R series components.

2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee using stock crossovers how to
I have been a huge fan of Infinity speakers going back to the 90's when I worked in the audio department at Best Buy. Back then they were some of our top end home audio speakers we sold. While working there I bought a pair of RS-5 tower speakers, RS-1 bookshelf speakers and a matching center channel. That was what, 30 years ago and I STILL HAVE THEM and they are still flawless! So when it came to car audio upgrades the first thing I did was search out Infinity. Bought this pair of 9630's for my Jeep Grand Cherokee front doors as a direct replacement to the stock Alpine ones Jeep comes with.So like I said my Jeep has the upgraded Alpine based 9 speaker stereo. My front doors speakers stock are already component style. Now obviously I wanted the best sound possible but at the same time was having a really hard time finding a good place for the included Infinity crossover. They are quite large and the inner door space is very limited for me. So once I had the inner door panel off I simply tapped into the existing speaker wires with some t-clips so as to connect the infinity speakers without doing any cutting. And to my surprise the Jeeps build in crossover that ran the Alpine speakers worked perfectly with these Infinity speakers! No clipping or distortion, no frequency overlap or anything. I tested them with Satellite radio, USB stick audio tracks, built in stereo's hard drive and even a couple video files. Not a single crackle or imperfection. So long story short, I ended up using some HSTECH 72-6514 speaker wire adaptors for the 6x9's so I wouldn't have to cannibalize any wiring down there and for the tweeter, I simple cut off the Jeeps adaptor plug with a few inches of its cable and soldered those wires to the leads coming from the Infinity tweeters and plugged them in. Clean easy install and sounds amazing! If anything blows out using the Jeeps built in crossovers I always have the Infinity ones laying around. So if you own a Jeep Grand Cherokee 2011+ or 2011+ Dodge Durango (same wiring) this will work without sacrificing sound quality. The only things you loose is that +3dB button on the Infinity crossovers. Infinity tweeters are already brain shatteringly crisp. Using that +3dB button makes them just to overkill for me. I would have never used it and if you read around on these speakers most people are saying the same thing. So for all you Jeep Grand Cherokee owners that want to get ride of that muddy stock stereo sound these are a great upgrade. And you DO NOT need the Infinity crossovers or completely rewire to do it. I should have taken pictures but it never crossed my mind at the time.

Price value, exact fit and decent woofer base.
Only using the 6x9 woofers as replacements for two Saab 9-5 vehicles rear deck torn cone factory speakers. Could be louder, but they are 3 ohm replacements for original 2 ohm. Perfect fit, Awesome $100 less than other sellers!! Get Metra plug adapters for no splice connection to Saab factory speaker wiring plug. Seem to sound better with a little break in needed. Poly cones and rubber surround should long outlast original paper and foam factory speakers. Not hardly pushing them with 22 watt power per woofer from factory amp, but very happy with them nonetheless!! Interesting to note that Infinity brand is from Harman International and original Saab speakers are Harman Kardon.

Awesome set of speakers at unbelievable price!
These sound amazing in my 2022 Ram 1500 with about 125 watts RMS pushing them (these are rated at 3 ohms and my amp is 120Wx4 at 4 ohms so I’m estimating). Crystal clear throughout the whole frequency range. I got them foR basically half price because they said they were brand new with damaged packaging. The package was perfectly fine but the styrofoam inside was SLIGHTLY damaged. I mean like a tiny bit with no effect other than the way it looked. Still cant believe I got this set for 120 bucks. Couldn’t be happier!

Wow! Impressive
What a difference! Replaced the front door factory speakers in my 2005 4Runner with these. The bass is tight, the sound is fuller and crisper than ever before. Powering these with an Infinity 6004a 60w amp. If you have a Toyota, you might want to look into mounting brackets. As you can see in my photos these speaker brackets aren't the same size as to factory one.

Direct fit and great upgrade from OEM
Speakers were direct fit and plug-n-play with a harness connector. Sound is terrific and a great upgrade from stock speakers.

More detail and bass response
I’m still amazed at the bass response I get from these in my factory 2017 F150 Lariat. The sound stage is really nice. I find myself enjoying the details in music so much now that my commute seems shorter. Speaker swap and a Spotify subscription really helps. I have the 6x9 and tweeter components. Had it professionally installed by a local shop. Could use some more power and equalization, but for just a speaker swap, the 3 ohm impedance really seems to make a difference. I do not have the Ford Sony system, so I can’t speak to that. Next upgrade would be to add amps and equalizer. This is known to cause issues with the start/stop system. I spent $100 on an electronic latch to turn it off or on when I want. I no longer have to hit the button every time I start the car. Amps may be an issue without start/stop disabled.
