The box arrived dented. When I opened it I found there was only one single sheet of protecting Styrofoam and that only covered one side. The corner was dented and the wood was split in half. The metal bracket was bent out of shape. It did not look usable.I stated a ticket with Vevor and they said they'd get back to me in 48 hours. They did not.I took the entire frame apart and managed to get the bracket out that was damaged. I redrilled the splintered wood and added dowels, glue, and screws in pre-drilled holes to get it back together. I bent the metal frame into shape again and had to drill new holes in it for the bolts. Then I assembled it all. I spent about 3 hours fixing their bad shipping.Finally Vevor responded and said they would send out some new wood. They would not replace it, credit anything for the work I had done or anything else. At that point taking it apart again didn't sound like a viable option so I mounted what I had and got it working.As for the product, it's sturdy, and the stairs close nice and tight as I had hoped. I purchased the longer sized model since my garage ceiling is 11 feet high. However not only could I not use the extension brackets for this purpose, I had to cut the legs of the aluminum ladder because it was way too tall. Then I had to drill new holds and remount the feet.The product is great, a 5 star product. Minus one star for the extremely long ladder not matching the description, and minus another star for the shipping. I'm being very generous here with 3 stars.

The magnets holding it up, we’re not as strong as we would’ve liked. We needed to put a hook on just to make sure it wouldn’t start to come down and interfere with the garage garage door mechanism.

Went to close it and hinge unaligned and bent. Vevor was no help. Dont buy Vevor anything
