I thought this Sanskar Nepal Himalayan Gold Tea was absolutely smooth and delicious. The tea turns a nice color and smells of the appropriate aroma. I let it seep for about 4 minutes. It is better than some of thosebox teas they sell at the Super Markets.

The media could not be loaded. I love the flavor and can drink this tea all day. So fresh and delicious.

I must say, it lived up to the reputation of Nepali teas. This tea exceeded my expectations and became my top choice. It has its authentic flavor, which is best enjoyed without milk. This tea has a very earthy, organic, right off the plant flavor. I placed some of the tea leaves in my tea ball and added 20 oz. of boiling water. The flavor is smooth and not bitter. I added 3 packets of Equal Sweetener as I do with all of my teas. The flavor of the tea did improve as it cooled, losing some of the roasted flavor intensity that did seem pleasing to my palette at first. The one great thing about this tea is that the leaves are small enough to fit in my tea ball. The tea is shipped in a resealable bag. A great gift for the tea lover on your list!
