Does not work well.
The whistle is not very loud. The product was made from cheap plastic, and I just sent it back. Look for better if it's a disaster situation. This would not be suitable.

Great little gift, and practical!
The media could not be loaded. This little combination gadget was so perfect, that even my little granddaughter was excited about it. I let her explain in the video, all the parts, and what it can do! Besides whistling, which she didn’t do, but it fits nice and sturdy in my hand and in hers, and whistling for help would be easy. I love the fact either of us can wear it around our necks. I didn’t even remember about the mirror and the little magnifier inside till she took it apart! Kids!😂 Great stocking stuffer, especially for those who like gadgets, or for kids who like playing secret agent, or exploring in the woods on a camping trip. Great teaching tool with the working compass, in conjunction with a paper map. I highly recommend!👍
