I use these everyday at work, they are so light that I often forget I'm wearing them and end up wearing it home. The only thing I don't like is that you have to double click to pause. I have to pause often to speak with coworkers and sometimes pausing is difficult.

The Paintaudio Earmate 1 comes with two earbuds , a nice charging case and a carrying bag. The charging case has a 600Mah rechargeable battery and each earbud contains a 60Mah battery that can run for more than 9 hours of audio/music ! Overall standby time is rated at over 300 hours. Inside the case is a 2 1/2 digital display for the charging case status and Left and Right bar graphs that show each earphone charge status.The multi-function buttons control volume, play controls and also the standard phone answer functions. Overall phone performance was good and reported voice quality on the other end of the conversation was also judged very good ! The product uses both tone and voice assist to provide earbud status when in use.Using a well-known internet headphone/earbud testing program, fidelity, dynamic range and overall frequency response of these OTE earbuds was Very good. Overall frequency spec for these earbuds is 20Hz to 20Khz and I was able to hear clearly 30hz to about 12KHz and the base response sounded very good with various types of music genre's ! The was NO driver " rattle" during the driver overload testing!The earbuds are very comfortable to ware, adjustable for comfort, and both the quality and performance was very good. These Paintaudio earbuds are a good combination of being comfortable and sounding good, something I rarely see in earbuds. First, I greatly prefer the comfort of open ear products to standard earbuds that enter the ear canal; I find the latter uncomfortable and leading to ear fatigue pretty quickly. These Paintaudio earbuds instead sit nicely above the ear, wrapping around the outer ear. No fatigue!The sound is also good. The earbuds connect quickly with a bluetooth source and offer a good range of sound, particularly providing good bass response: not always evident with open ear products. I find the overall combination of sound and comfort to be a great combination. I also appreciate the long battery life from each charge cycle.The case is also nice, offering protection as well as a meter showing the percentage of charge the earbuds have remaining. The combined case and earbuds seems very well constructed, and I expect them to last a long time.I don't mess with phone calls, etc., on the earbuds; I use a separate music player from my phone, so I can't comment on receiving calls, etc., although it appears that the technology is good here. Similarly, I control volume and track management on the separate device, so no input from me on those earbud controls. Again, what I like is that they sound good and can be worn for extended periods. That's good enough for me!

As someone who always opted for over-the-ear headphones, I decided to take a leap and try the PAINTAUDIO EarMate 1 open-ear headphones. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much – figured the sound quality would be weak. But to my surprise, I was pleasantly impressed!The sound quality is actually quite good, especially considering the open-ear design. The 16.2mm drivers deliver clear audio, and the panoramic deep bass enhancement adds a surprising punch without being overwhelming. Plus, the 45-hour playtime with the charging case is fantastic – you can listen to music all day long without worry.However, there are a couple of reasons I still find myself reaching for my trusty over-ear headphones more often. Firstly, the open-ear design doesn't provide any noise isolation. While great for situational awareness, it can be a downside in noisy environments. Secondly, the snug fit and complete noise cancellation of my over-ears offer a more immersive listening experience.Overall, the PAINTAUDIO EarMate 1s are a great option for anyone who wants a comfortable and convenient way to listen to music without completely blocking out their surroundings. The sound quality is surprisingly good, and the battery life is excellent. However, if you're looking for complete noise isolation or a super immersive listening experience, you might prefer traditional over-ear headphones.

I ordered these wireless earbuds by Paintaudio after losing an expensive pair of earbuds and these sound just as good as the expensive ones I lost! I like the over-the-ear design of these ear headphones, they feel more secure when I wear them out jogging. Connecting these ear headphones to my iPhone via Bluetooth was quick and easy. The battery life has been very good and I don’t need to charge them daily. I have only used these to listen to music and audiobooks, I have not used these for any phone calls so I can’t comment on the voice quality of these ear headphones but the sound for music and audiobooks is stellar. Overall these ear headphones were an excellent choice to replace my too expensive lost earbuds.

These are decent set of open ear earbuds. Music came through good once I adjusted the music with my equalizer on the phone. Range is very good, I could leave my phone in my home office and walk around my house into the garage and it would stay connected. They are comfortable to wear as well.For the price offered though I could not give it 5 stars, because it failed a short in voice call quality. I could hear the caller great, but they said that although they could hear me but it was not as good as my other headsets...I just sounded more distant.
