Little LogBook-Electronic Mileage Logbook-No Monthly or Annual Fees

Was rather easy to set up and register. Logged trip as it should. Start and end point a little off. Tried to edit without success. I may get it sorted out later..it will work great for my purpose. (Just need to track miles for taxes)I just went on business / pleasure road trip. little logbook calculated the the miles accurately, there was a issue with odometer reading matching up using summery reports. Custom reports by date are accurate.Customer service replied promptly. and is working on it,the program will even show your speed and elevation. the speed is calculated in KPH i think. I don't really care.my truck is a Turbo Diesel and occasionally i wont shut engine off for a quick stop and i loose a 1/4 mile or so before it knows I'm moving again.Love the fact there is no plan to pay.

The logger worked great for several months, then just stopped responding. So I bought another thinking the first unit had failed due to heat or something along that line. The new unit worked for 2 weeks then started to have same issue. LED won't blink showing trip being recorded. nO trip recorded when I try to download. Two devices, tried them in several different vehicles , using different power adapters, cords, cables, but they still dont work. $200 worth of junk, and I've now lost the miles that I thought I had logged which will end up costing thousands of dollars. Support never offered any help other than to inform me that I could manually add trips. Wait, I sorta bought this so that I would not have to add every trip manually... After numerous emails to "Tech support" and even a ZOOM meeting with the developer I still don't have a working unit. NO one has offered to repair either of the units that I have and there has been no mention of replacing wither one or both of the defective devices. It would be a simple matter to resolve, "oh you say you have a nonworking unit? We will send you a replacement to keep you happy and we will rip apart the old defective unit to find out what went wrong" " We will then redesign the device to prevent this issue from ever happening again, thank you ever so much for bring the problem to our attention" your faithful and ever grateful software development team"Can I give a 1/8 or 1/16 star? No, I have to give a full star? well that's rather misleading I would say, but it's what I can do.

I LIKE THE SECURITY OF SOMETHING RECORDING MY MILES FOR TAX PURPOSES. LOVE THE SOFTWARE. HAVING TO TYPE IN ALL DESTINATIONS TAKES A MINUTE. BUT IT DUPLICATES INFORMATION. IT IS A LITTLE LOSE IN THE IN THE USB IN TRUCK. BUT ALL IN ALL I THINK IT WILL WORK. HAVE NEEDED THIS FOR YEARS, DON'T WANT TO PAY HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS FOR MONTHLY FEES.

Super simple to use both the device and software. Love the fact no monthly subscription is required like most tracking units. Great device to track business and personal mileage. Just plug it in and go, after downloading the info just right click each trip and mark it as personal or business. Can also rename locations and pull them up on the map to verify they're accurate. Then set saved preferences so it will automatically recognize your common routes and automatically set them as personal or business. Monthly reports etc. Highly recommended for small business owners who need to track mileage for taxes

Works as described..the biggest issue in USA is you don't get actual address description.. for instance a store may be tagged WindyHill anti-aircraft battery..I guess the geotag not what's there..hit or miss descriptions.. other loggers..the defunct gisteq tripbook software was able to Google map to a specific location..this seems a deficiency in the PC software not the logger.

There are multiple issues for this device, bottom line its just not what it should or could be. Physical issues, if your not in a vehicle with a sun roof or very sloped windscreen you will need an extension cable to the dash and all the issues of cable management that go with that. Software is straight out of an early 200's accounting platform with lots of cumbersome steps to make it work, think old school quicken. No subscription needed but you will need to create an online profile for the software to work making in not completely an offline stand alone product. Accuracy is a big issue based on the data that was collected the accuracy of this device is approximately 100m (1/33 the accuracy of a phone). The data showed my vehicle in the woods on the side of a mountain where no roads exist. Because of the accuracy issues the start and end points were all wrong meaning that you need to rename every trip (old school quicken). The software also appears to be using some kind landmark (fire houses, cemeteries, highway interchanges, etc) matching system instead of street addresses. The concept is there but for all of the issues it is not worth a quarter of the price.
