Fits anywhere and easy to carry
This chair has been a life saver. I got it just to use in the shower for my husband. This past week, he had emergency surgery. At the same time, we been having the bathroom remodeled so he can get in with this chair. Due to the surgery and construction, he was unable to use the bathrooms in our house (one too small, one without a toilet). I sit this chair beside the bed for a toilet and I'm also using it as a wheelchair to move him around the house (since the construction has taken over the house, his power chair is too big). It's not a chair you would want to sit in all day (due the seat being a little hard) but it is a very handy!

Poor Quality Product
This shower wheelchair has been in use less than 60 days for my handicapped father, and literally only in the shower 4 times total-the wheelchair wheel sheer broke off while he was in it. My father is paralyzed on his right side from a stroke and we’re fortunate a family member was there to assist him and this incident didn’t cause him any major injuries. The shower wheelchair isn’t repairable in its current condition. The left arm also is unstable due to the same incident, from him trying to keep himself upright when the wheel broke off. There’s no way to send a message to the seller about requesting a refund or credit for the item. For $349.00 this purchase is beyond disappointing. The weight recommendation was within my father’s size, but the quality is so poor I wouldn’t recommend it for someone >150lbs or so after how quickly it fell apart. I’ve also been a nurse for 25 years, I am very particular in the items I choose for my father and his care- read the specs and reviews carefully before choosing anything for him- this product was not only disappointing after arrival in quality but also created an extremely dangerous situation for my family member.

Both arms broke off very quickly. Horrible design.
The design of the arms on this chair was not well thought out. In fact, very quickly after receiving this chair one of the arms broke off because the 1 bolt that attaches the back of the arm to the back frame snapped. Any side to side movement of the arm was destined to break it, No matter what you may have tried, there would be some side to side pressure exerted on the arms and the engineers who designed this were asleep at the wheel. They should’ve known (how could they not?) that this was inevitable. Less than a month after the first one broke, the second one did the same thing! We now have an armless shower/toilet chair. You should also know that the seat is not comfortable. Unfortunately, it’s hard as a rock!My wife has had multiple sclerosis since 1975 and has had a hard life because of that. She deserves a chair that is both comfortable and functional, but this one is neither. There are features of the chair that work well. For example, it was very easy to assemble, the brakes on the large wheels are excellent, the chair rolls very smoothly, and it looks good. Unfortunately, the arm design could have been better if done by a fifth grader. If the engineers responsible for the arm attachment had been on that TV game show called “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?” They would have had to announce to the audience. “My name is (fill in their name) and I am not smarter than a fifth grader!” in fact, they could’ve changed the name of the show to “Are you smarter than a second grader?”I am looking for a better chair

Great, sturdy bedside commode that can also serve as a transport chair
This is a great product. It's relatively heavy at almost 27 lbs for a bedside commode, and that weight is due to its solid construction and the fact it's also a transport chair. You sit on it and it feels solid - absolutely no wiggle back to front or side to side. It's got a fairly high padded back and robust, sturdy arms. There's a flat cushioned square that perfectly fits over the commode seat when you use it as a chair.Assembly was a breeze. It was shipped folded up - simply unfold, and it's ready to go. No bolts, no screws. One thing to note is that the height is not adjustable, as it would be for a simple bedside commode. The chair rolls easily over all of the surfaces in our house - carpet, tile, and vinyl - and the locking front wheels are easy to use and do a great job keeping it in place. The chair is waterproof can be used also be used as a shower chair. We won't use it as such. We don't have a shower with a small enough lip to roll this chair into, and even if we did, the logistics of using it as a shower chair, getting it wet, then somehow using it as a transport chair back to the bedroom or other areas of the house don't seem to make sense. In our mind, it's much easier to use this as a commode chair and transport chair, then use a separate dedicated shower chair that can dry off in the shower stall itself (which is what we do).In summary - this is a well made, sturdy bedside commode that we are very happy with. It's easy to fold/unfold and comfortable to use both as a bedside commode and as a transport chair.

Easy to assemble but not easy to use.
I purchased this primarily to transport my wife into our walk-in shower. It woks marginally well for that purpose, but as a bedside commode it fails miserably. For one thing the seat is too low. Worst of all reaching down to lock/unlock the front casters requires the skill of a professional acrobat. There should be a way to lock the large rear wheels since the person pushing the chair is obviously BEHIND the chair. Finally the folding footrest (which the poorly written instructions call a “pedal”) elevates the patient’s feet far too high. I threw the footrest in the trash. The concept behind this chair is sound and the construction is solid however the engineering/ design is an abomination.
