Love love love this pencil
I love this pencil and the dark values I can reach because of it. I’m at a stage where I’m learning how to gradually get to darker tones, however I find that I don’t even need to use much pressure to see darker tones (which is absolutely great for me)

Great pencil, easy to hold, easy to erase, great sketching pencil.
Great pencils for sketching, you can get darker shades into really light shades. FC is a company that always produces great art materials. If your looking for a pencil just for some rough sketches, this is the one for you. It's hexagonal, which makes it was to hold, it sharpens like a dream and erases well. Great all rounder pencil and not too pricey.

Great pencils for creating dark values.
I have tried a variety of pencils for my drawing, faber castell have come out on top for me in creating true dark shades without the shine of cheaper pencils.They are a little more expensive than a standard pencil, but with drawing you get what you pay for.
