Work great, had to cleanup one casting
These fit well in the strut channel and roll smoothly. One of the castings had some material that kept the bolt head from sitting flat on the casting. I used a file to remove the extra material and the bolt set down flush. They roll freely in the track and hold a lot of weight. They are reasonably priced and I would order them again.

Strong structure & fits nicely into 1-5/8" Strut Channel
Strong structured trolley that fits nicely into 1-5/8" Strut Channel. For my application I needed a 2-inch swiveling pulley wheel for hoisting purposes and an easy way to transit the strut channel. This 4-wheel trolley is structurally strong (cast steel or high strength aluminum) and the bearing wheels roll smoothly inside the channel. I replaced the 1/2 diameter hex-head bolt that came with the trolley with a Steel Hexagon Socket round-Head Shoulder Bolt 1/2" Shoulder Diameter, 1-1/2" Shoulder Length, 3/8"-16 UNC Thread, a few fiber washers, and Eskonke Red Thread Lock 262 for a nut. Found the trolley wheels, pulleys, thread lock on Amazon. Found shoulder bolts, fiber washers and nuts at local Ace Hardware, but they are on Amazon - just more difficult to find size-wise without being able to try them.

Good Trolleys
I have been wanting some trolleys for strut channel, primarily to make a temporary ceiling hoist/trolley system in case I want to move a large appliance (like a chest freezer or washer) in the basement. With a hoist and trolley, I can lift the appliance with straps, pull it a few feet away from the wall, and then lower it into a temporary spot or onto a moving dolly. These trolleys will do the job just fine. They have a heavy central forging, and bearing wheels that are large enough to roll easily in a piece of channel. You can see in one of my photos how the bearing outer rings engage the edges of the strut channel. The big 12mm center bolt is not fixed in the forging, so it can be replaced if necessary, and the hex head of the bolt engages into recess to keep it from turning as you tighten a lifting eye onto the bolt. It all works very well.I did notice that the bearing shafts are permanently formed into place. That’s really needed to keep the width of the whole trolley narrow enough to go inside the channel. But it means it would be quite a job if you ever wanted to replace one of the bearings – probably better to just replace the whole trolley. So, these work well and look beefy enough to hold a substantial load. They get a five-star rating from me.
