Most Comfortable
Most comfortable headphones sennheiser has ever made, including their top of the line. no matter head size, massive or tiny. sound quality is immaculate and has a bright personality, very cinematic. a tad improvement in the mids would make it 11 out of 10 but its profile has much less fatigue in my opinion compared to something like the rx70 which is supposedly a top tier in mids. if your looking for best value get something like the hd600 on sale. if your looking for ergonomic headphones with more than enough imaging and overall sound quality that are a pleasure to wear for hours while providing a gaming experience similar to the much more expensive hd800 s thanks to the amazing sounstage, something the hd600 very much lacks, these are more than worth the upgrade. you can feep the sound from these similar to a speaker setup. amazing stock pads even if you wear glasses. would definitely recommend as an endgame if the hd600s didnt give you any wow factor.

Unbelievably comfortable
I'm not the biggest audiophile ever but I've been through my fair share of headphones, from the gaming branded ones (astros, turtle beach, steelseries) to audiophile sets like hifiman, sennheiser 6xx, and akg 712 pros.I've only been listening for an hour but these are amazing. Easily the most comfortable I've ever worn. They're extremely light, don't clamp hard like other sennheisers, supoer plush, soft pads that just gently hug your ears, and essentially no pressure on the head. The cups themselves are big enough to cover my ears, without being so big that they basically just envelop them. They're resting on the ear rather than surrounding them, but still covering the whole ear so its not awkward to get them in the right spot, and without weird pressure points because they're resting on one part more than the rest.Sound quality is great. Super clear like other audiophile sets, but these actually have significant bass. It's not drowning out the mids or highs but its actually THERE which is great and brings back some oomph to the music that was missing from the 6xx's and akg 712's especially. These might be my endgame headphones. I'll probably still be curious about others but I don't see why I would need to upgrade, honestly. Also, for gaming the comfort alone would make them a go-to, but the imaging and soundstage judging from the music I've listened to so far seems on point so they should be great for picking out sounds in game and judging where it's coming from.

Sounds incredible
First impressions, the head clamp is noticeably tighter compared to the beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro, but not to the point where it feels uncomfortable. The included earpads are miles more comfortable to me on the 490 pro plus. The build quality is sturdy, and insanely light. I almost thought I received the wrong headphones after feeling how light these are.As for the sound, listening to anything really, you can clearly hear each and every detail. If you've tried on or own the dt 990 pro, imagine if each detail became clearer and more upfront with slightly less bass.. that's pretty much what these feel like. Now, I got these to go with the GOXLR mini for gaming and wow.. the imaging on these headphones are in an entire different league compared to the dt 990 pros. It feels almost like a cheat to be able to clearly tell where enemies are coming from. I mainly play Valorant, and these are a game changer for sure.Coming from the SIMGOT Supermix 4, and EM6L, these are definitely an upgrade, but maybe not worth 3 times as much. If you're going for a better IEM-like sound but on open-back headphones, these are worth it.

Amazing Sound and perfect for someone who needs to hear their surroundings
Fantastic feel, great audio, cord length is great for both the short coiled one and the longer one if you do a lot of moving around. Very lightweight I forget I’m wearing them sometimes with the studio ear pads on.

Hopefully I can stop now
In the last couple months I've tried a lot of headphones with gaming and music as my focus I wanted a headphone that could do both, DT 1990 pro, Sen HD 650, Audeze Maxwell, Corsair Virtuoso pro and even a Blackshark v2 pro 2023 edition. I've tested different amps, dacs separate sources like Tidal, apple music, youtube music, spotify with varrying bitrates. Here is what I've landed on and I'm finally happy with the HD 490 PRO Plus as a good all arounder headphone that has enough detail and imaging for FPS games and Balanced enough for listening to a variety of music. This headphone handles vocals beautifully and the soundstage is wide enough to get you immersed while not being the widest, overall this headphone doesn't do anything bad but doesn't really excel in anything specifically aside from maybe imaging, I don't say this as a negative if you want one pair of great headphones this is it.These aren't that hard to drive, I could drive them directly from my PC and my laptop, but they did not really allow the 490's to shine, I paired them with the Schiit Vali 2+ tube amp for additonal warmth and some harmonics, then swapped to the analytical pads and added dolby atmos for headphones and what can I saw but these sound brilliant like this.I would not recommend atmos with the valour pads or using the analytical pads with no EQ as the mids felt recessed, for some reason the combination of the tube amp, atmos and the analytical pads just reached a magic spot for me.for gamers out there, the Sennheiser GSX 100 dac/amp powered these just fine and it sounded great with the music EQ preset, but I still preferred the tube amp.
