This tire pressure monitoring system is designed for all the cars which do not have such system pre-installed in them at the manufacturing.This device essentially consists of two working parts:- 4 pressure sensors, one for each wheel;- the receiver display, which shows the pressure on each tire.The pressure sensors are installed on the wheel nipple, they read in pressure on the tire and transfer the readings to the monitor display which is installed somewhere on the top of the dashboard inside the car. Each sensor is labelled according to the tire which it must be installed. Each sensor is powered by CR1632 battery.The LED display shows the live readings on pressure on each tire, and in case there are some of abnormalities, it informs the user about the problems. The display is powered via the solar panel, otherwise it may be charged using the micro USB cable.I have installed this system to my wife's 2006 VW Polo, so far readings are accurate and everything works alright.
