Adds character
I got these as an accent for my pergola. They look beautiful. It really adds character to the structure. I can’t comment on the functionality, but I can guess it does the job with the correct hardware for installation.

A quality bracket!
I was looking for a more rustic bracket. But this one did the job it was intended for - stabilizing the cross beam to the uprights.

T-braces
They were as expected. I recommend wrapping them instead of just throwing them in the box for shipping. On of ours had a big scratch.

Look good, but have visible "flex" if there's ANY offset in posts and beams
I really like the appearance of the APT6 brackets, but when you crank down the (not included) fasteners, any offset between post and beam (or whatever lumber you are fastening) results in a visible bending of the thin metal used to manufacture these "T" brackets. I had about 1/16" size difference on each side of the treated beams and posts I was joining using APT6's, and there is a noticeable "bend" in each APT6. Not horrible, but not particularly attractive.Like 'em, but don't love 'em.

These Brackets worked great.
I made this swing frame for the back yard. I put a bracket on the front and back of the 6X6 post and beam joint and the brackets made it very rigid.
