The Brother XM3700 sewing machine is an excellent beginner machine with 37 built-in stitches. That’s all the stitches I ever need. I chose the option that included five sewing feet, because I already had a case from my other Brother's machine. This machine is simple to use and runs smoothly. It’s a great loaner machine when people come to my Home, and I teach them to sew… The Brother brand stands out above the rest. In my opinion for The everyday person.Experienced sour of over 40+ years experience, and I’m familiar with Bernina, Janome, Singer, along with Brother's machines. I was able to make over 30,000 masks in 2020 before I burned out the machine. I am impressed with the quality and the number of sewing hours performance on this machine.What I love about this machine is that it comes with presets, so you can take it right out of the box and start sewing without having to go through the entire set up. It worked perfectly from the start. The quality is outstanding and perfect for all ages. One of the best sewing machines for the beginner. I have seen.

This is my first ever sewing machine and it’s perfect for my purposes. It’s not too big, easy to use, easy to thread, has multiple functions if you would like to use them etc. I have no complaints about the machine so far, and have used it for multiple projects.

This sewing machine is ideal for travelling around to classes or retreats. I bought it to travel in my 5th wheel, along with a Bagsfy storage case. So far I've been pleased with the versatility of the stitches that it makes, and its overall ease of operation.

very nice machine, seems well made, wasn't the easiest to thread I found took me a while to get it and the needle threader thing, had to watch a video on utube for that. Finally got it and did some test sewing with it and it works quite nicely.
