Great product Shame about the software
Once again if you thought this was a plug and play product you would be wrong. Setting it up was great I enjoyed how easy it was. Yes it comes with the software to put onto the pc and convert Movie to the required Bin files. It doesn't come with the software to create the 3d images it has as a demo. You will need to search the entire web for that. after one month and a lot of searching I have found a few software downloads that will sort of do what the demo dose. Most of the 3d image designer programmes make you think you need a masters degree in 3d design but It is worth it. I have now got to a point with the software that I can create the Logos I need for the festivals next season still a working progress

One of the Coolest gadgets ive bought in a while
I have to give this 5 Stars just for the price alone - but there are some pretty big caveats depending on your use case.Firstly - This comes with a 4GB SD Card and SD Card reader - which isn't really clearly stated. On that SD Card is the software and some examples decoded videos that will play straight away on the fan.Its also worth pointing out - the SD Card comes installed in the fan by default - The instructions do not explain a damn thing about where to find it or where the port is. but its located behind the fan blades once your install them. The SD Card has the windows decoding app installed on it as well - Im not a huge fan of this approach as the mobile apps also required installing via APK which is not a user friendly experience and had me a little skeptical at first. The Mobile app requires Wi-Fi to be dedicated to the fan - and it allows you to choose/play the videos you want and tweak other settings like brightness and Gamma. The Noise - is insane - this thing is so loud as it cuts through the air with all its bare PCB - its not the worst thing ever but its not quiet by any stretch of the imagination.I planned to use it as as filming prop to create interesting visual holograms in the scene and cast light as a result (see GXAce) but the dual fan blades create a lot of rolling shutter - it can add to the vibe but looks a little weird, But its the cheapest fan you can getAll in all for a little project/toy or interesting visual to have for a party or event its really cool - I plan to use it a bit more as a film prop to see if its useful for me but its an awesome thing to try out

Very time consuming
Got this as wife wanted one.Thd idea is good. And when you can get it working they are a nice gimmick.Points to note:1) very short power cable.2) no switch to be able to turn it on or off... very big problem as the cable is so short from the fan..no way you can connect it to the power supply.. you have make sure the power supply is off at mains or not plugged in before you can connect.3) the instructions are dismal.. they explain nothing. And mostly in Chinese.4) when you finally discover the SD card ( no mention in instructions). You open it up in your PC... to find everything is in Chinese again. So no idea what your trying to look at.5) when you finally find the Apps for your phone or the software foe your PC.. you are still left totally baffled with no idea what your looking at or what you need to do.I'm sure once I can figure out some basics with this I will get more from it. But for now it's not realy doing anything.6) one last thing to note. These fans/ blades are potentially fairly dangerous. Especially as its very easy to put fingers etc into the very fast spinning blades.I have made a case for ours. I will also make a longer power cable and fit an on/off switch.7) you can supposedly update and configure it via the SD card via software that's on it with your PC.. good luck with that. The software is terrible and Chinese instructions make it impossible. You can download an app for your phone.. "3D LED Fan".. which has some help videos. But not to good..Note. To use it you need to have the fan powered/ running.. then connect to the wifi it puts out.. but again little or no success so far for me.All I need to do now is work out how to actually use the thing..Some youtube videos would help everyone.

Poor instructions, ok video image, not a very 3D hologram just flat video plane.
The media could not be loaded. This device sounded impressive on the listing but in reality it’s very underwhelming. The projected image is a fairly low res looking flat plane. For some reason I was imagining so sort of 3D hologram but the 3d effect is just a video of a spinning object projected on a flat plane. The instructions are mostly Chinese, with some badly translated English. It does not come with the wall mount base plate as instructions show. No details on how to connect the spinner vanes although they are straight forward enough. So I just had to screw the main device directly to the wall as there was no mounting plate.Connecting WiFi is not explained, in fact the device has it’s own WiFi which you have to find on your phone and connect to in prefer to control it.The mobile app is extremely basic, it allows upload of images, videos and gimmicky spinning cubes or cylinders with images mapped onto them.I did get it working with a bit of experimentation and unfortunately it’s not that impressive, definitely nothing like what I was expecting, just a flat low res video image floating about an inch off the wall.Oh and the mains cable is barely a meter long so very limited where you can install it.

Easy to use the app
The media could not be loaded. The instructions in the box are all in Chinese so I found it better to just download the app and connect to it via that. It’s a bit noisy like a desk fan all full power. For the cost it’s probably worth it.Only going to use it to display a Christmas tree and such.Video with review just for reference.
