Q: How do you open the safe when it arrives? Its locked.

Good luck, first of all. This is so badly designed I can’t even begin to describe how badly it works. First, get two butter knives out. Then try to wedge the first knife behind the rubber plate that surrounds the entry knob. At the same time, slip the other knife into the tiny gap you’re able to make and twist it. The “rubber” plate should pop off. Then you will have access to the keyhole and use your key to enter. The battery compartment is on the door-another challenge! The nib on top is where it opens- then the cover pivots from the top so you can add the batteries. Pretty easy from there. HORRIBLE DESIGN, HORRIBLE INSTRUCTIONS!!
