I was all excited to slim down from my safariland rig..then after playing around with this for almost 2 hours this is my review. There is no way on earth this was tested with blackhawk quick release gear as the description says. The entire bar isn't even wide enough to accommodate the stock holes for the locking plate. The only way this works is with using only 2 screws and frankly, I'm not trusting my firearm to only 2 screws. Additionally, if you can get it to work somehow there is zero room for adjustable cant of the locking plate. If you have blackhawk gear dont waste your money this will only frustrate you.

The build quality is great. It's made from aluminum and so far, hasn't bent, snapped or broken yet. I had to enlarge some of the holes as my holster's hardware wouldn't fit through the holes.It's rigid and it clamps well to molle straps. Definitely use loc-tite. I've read the screws like to back out if you don't. The thigh strap is almost not necessary, but it's nice that it comes with it.One thing nobody realizes when switching to a mid drop platform... good luck sitting down. LOL

I like the drop leg holster very much. Totally sure I have is that it was missing the instructions. Ended up with extra parts due to that. The day go to the Internet and look at other drop me a coaster to figure out what to do with some of the parts.

the only complaint that i have is that with the holster that i use, this mount put the gun a little bit too close to my leg so i would scrape my thumb on one of the mounting screws almost every time i drew. once i put a QLS mount on it, it pushed the holster out a little bit and now it works great. couldn't recommend this mount enough

I put this on my backup battle belt with a QLS quick release and it's great. The drop is sufficient to get below the plate carrier but not so low to be in the way. The leg strap is low enough to not pinch body parts but high enough to provide the proper support. Assembly was a little tricky but went well considering the amount of parts involved.

I love this multicam drop-leg mount. It came ready to install the most modern format hole patterns. The finish and camo pattern look really good. Feels like a much more solid option than plastic.
