Unfortunately this kit does not come with a dust cover, but the instructions talk about putting the dust cover on... I don't like to display these without a dust cover because I have pets and don't want them getting into the kit and possibly ruining it. This kit was very easy to understand and I put it together quickly. This was my third book nook and the first two had colored instructions. This kit had black and white instructions. After reading the other reviews on this kit it might be best to have experience doing these kits with colored instructions before doing a black and white instruction kit. The hardest part is the LEDs and the battery pack, but even that is VERY easy. Quick build and beginner friendly. Again beware that this is a black and white instruction kit. That being said I had zero problems and built this in roughly 4 hours.

The instructions can be hard to understand at times— especially the electrical wiring at the start— but it was easy to build!Things to expect:1) there’s a LOT of gluing. I had to use superglue because the wood glue I had left over from a previous book nook didn’t hold. I used an entire tube of superglue.2) you need a ruler and wire cutters to cut some small chain. I used needle nose pliers.Love it and highly recommend getting one of these! I loved making habitats for fairies and bugs as a kid, and this satisfied an itch I didn’t know I had.

Got this for myself and a girlfriend to surprise her for an early Birthday girls weekend! We loved putting this together. Beautifully detailed and so much fun!

What a piece of crap! Do not buy this! The most important piece broke within seconds! I have done countless booknooks and never had one physically incapable of bending a designated angle. I was so gentle and easy with this piece and it not only broke once but twice! This piece would have never been able to go into this angle even if it had been soaked in water! I wasn’t cut right! And to top it off- there are no extras! I’ve bought lot of booknooks that provide extras for fragile pieces- not this one! Mini city is SO MUCH BETTER!

The media could not be loaded. Wasn’t too difficult I finished this in 3 sitting spent a few hours each time working on it , the instructions can be kinda confusing but managed to interpret them.

Good quality material, box arrived in perfect condition, took me around 4 sittings to complete, better use silicon glue also with all stickers, only 2-3 doubts during the assembly that were possible to assume how to proceed, love the result!
