Robust, easy to use and very effective
These worked like a dream. Molehills had been steadily appearing in the grass. The two pack contains detailed instructions and it is important to follow these for placement. Within 7 days all traces of molehills had gone as the little creatures headed away from the scarers. These are more expensive than many, but they are very robust and the silicone protective cap means they will not suffer from water seeping in an ruining them, as happened with a cheaper pair I ordered some years ago, so I expect to be able to keep them in the shed and reuse as needed.

Total waste of money.
If I could give a zero I would , I placed two of these devices as per instructions into a small paddock which has mole problems I flattened the existing mounds put in the tubes and guess what after five days I have 14 mole hills all within 7 metres of a tube some as close as 1.5 metres. These devices are a complete waste of money .

They actually work!
I was a little sceptical of buying these after doing some research which suggested these type of devices are not effective. But after getting more and more frustrated with the mole hills ruining the garden lawn and not wanting to harm the mole, just for it to go elsewhere , I thought I would give them a try. The first delivery had to be returned as one of the spikes was not working,so check that they operate intermittently with different sounds and vibrations. They have been out in the garden for two weeks and from the moment I put them out, no mole hills on the lawn! I did notice a small one appear in the boarder but that is all. How long they continue to last we will wait and see but for now I am very happy.I couldn't be more pleased with these and would recommend them to anyone with a similar mole hill problem.

Does what it promises but really poor durability
Excellent for the first 12 months then they fill with water. Bought four a year ago and went to change batteries - all absolutely soaking inside and dead. Because they worked well at getting rid of moles, we have taken the plunge and bough four more to try to beat an army of voles. Really expensive having to replace every 12 months though - water goes in through top as the plastic cover disintegrates with UV and weather. Need to make sure they are completely vertical and then we may need to cover the top with a plastic food bag for longevity and zip lock it on.

Works really well
Really effective deterrent for rats, the timing of the vibration varies so it does disturb them. Easy to use and are pretty robust. Might seem expensive but worth the money

Very impressive when working
I have bought several of these Isotronic mole scarers over the years. They make a deep, rumbling noise interspersed periodically by a high-pitched bleep. I always know when the battery needs changing because mole activity becomes evident. Frustratingly, though, the molescarers have proven to have a very limited life span. The latest ones, which I purchased from Isotronic’s Amazon seller, have lasted for six months and all they emit now is the periodic bleep. I don’t know if the bleep is meant to indicate the molescarer is not working. I have frequently patronised Isotronic because whenever I emailed them to explain a shortcoming, they readily supplied replacements. Now however I am told I must return the faulty molescarers to Amazon after which I shall receive a refund. That’s certainly a good outcome but very inconvenient. It looks as if I may have to return them at my own expense as there does not seem to be the technological machinery to do so after a six month period.

Worked for 3 weeks!
Have tried almost everything else on the market to get rid of moles!Following instructions very carefully, and more moles appeared.Moved the repeller’s as per instructions and a a week later, both stopped working. Unable to switch on and off.Changed batteries, to no avail.I bought 2 packs of these, all 4 of the sticks (2 per pack) have faults with the on/off switch on top.Refund required.
