Such a beautiful bag! Quality look and feels almost like suede or velvet to the touch, it feels so soft and luxurious. The material seems thick and strong, yet the bag is not stiff or hard. And pockets galore; including an unexpected secret pocket or two. Purchased for an upcoming trip from Texas to Arizona in January. This bag is perfect for personal items, snacks drinks, and other necessities for a 2 day ride (going and coming) on Greyhound. Outer cargo pockets are small yes, but they will still prove useful for small drink bottles, an umbrella, eyeglasses and whatnots. Lovely, soft, colored liner helps to actually see what's in the bag. About 13 pockets in all. Yet with all this functionality, it is a very stylish and classy looking purse/tote bag that could fo just about anywhere. Thinking of getting the smaller (same exact features just a bit smaller by about 2x2 inches) for comparison and for those times when the larger tote is not needed. I love the look and feel of this bag. The only thing I do not like is that for such a nice bag, it could have been packaged better, maybe in something a bit more substantial than just clear plastic, say a box or large envelope even. Otherwise, the bag itself I give 5 stars. If this is your type of bag then I highly recommend it.

I ordered this as a travel purse and am very satisfied. It’s well made, which is amazing for the price. It does everything I want better and weighs less empty than a Baggallini that I paid WAY more for several years ago. Even if it only lasts three or four trips (and my trips are two to three months) I will be more than happy with the investment. Do the math.To address some of the negative comments:The middle zippered pocket in the main part of the bag did seem extraneous at first. Perhaps it was meant for extra security for a wallet, but it wouldn’t be especially convenient to use. However, I cut a piece of cardboard to size and slipped it in. The purse is now rigidly and conveniently divided into two sections, which I much prefer for organization and separating stuff to find it easily.LATER: I eventually found that even stiffened, the center zippered divider was more of a nuisance than a bonus, so I turned the bags (I have this large one and the smaller one) inside out and carefully cut the center pocket thing out. If you do this, cut close to the edge but be careful not to cut into the seams of the purse or the lining underneath.The strap. Yes, it’s wide, but this is a fairly large bag meant to carry more weight than a small and dainty lady purse. Narrower straps wouldn’t distribute the weight, so they’d cut in and be uncomfortable to wear with a lot in the bag.Side pockets: They will hold a small bottle of water from the grocery store—just—but it’s true they won’t hold the large water bottles that a lot of people use. I find they will accommodate a mini folding umbrella, a pair of sunglasses, a couple of energy bars, a pair of gloves. Amazon does sell skinny water bottles, which admittedly don’t hold more than 8 oz, but you can refill them; and not carrying 64 oz with you does cut down on the weight.Complaining that the color is not the same as on your screen is nothing to do with Amazon or the manufacturer. It’s the way your screen is calibrated (or probably not calibrated unless you are a photographer or artist who uses software and devices to calibrate your screen for accuracy regularly – say once a week.) All uncalibrated screens show colors differently, so you can’t judge.Tip to those who were unhappy that the size is larger or smaller than they wanted: Get a tape measure and use it before you buy. The dimensions are clearly stated. Caveat emptor!

I wanted a good, durable bag with some roominess and assorted pockets. It's pretty basic black and can be worn as a shoulder bag or crossbody, which is how I wear it with or without my backpack. It's lightweight, pretty pliable (not stiff) and a good price. The only drawback is that the strap chafes my neck a little when I wear it crossbody. The included wallet is really just a pouch that zips and doesn't quite measure up to the quality of the bag.

Nice sized crossbody purse. It’s sturdy and lightweight. It holds a lot! I got it as a birthday gift and the recipient liked the gift! It’s a nice black colored purse that goes with everything! The zipper slides comfortably.

I bought this bag to use mostly for air travel. I’ve found airlines I travel on have very restrictive limits about how much I can take on a flight. Rules about handbags were somewhat less rigid though, so I bought this bag. It’s just small enough to qualify as a handbag so I can keep it with me during a flight. And if I could still have my carry on bag stowed in the overhead compartment.The bag has good amount of space with lots of zippered compartments. Everything I needed was handy and organized. I didn’t need an expensive bag because I will use it mostly for travel. It has held up very well for several trips. I found it useful to have for shopping and even for a hiking and bird watching trip. There were lots of nice colors to choose from but I went with black because it’s more versatile. It’s a great deal for the price.
