These traps will work well enough for a medium sized animal such as an Armadillo. I caught a relatively big one in it. Maybe 20 lbs. or so. The rear door is good for letting the animal out of the trap without getting your fingers in there, but it is a bit awkward. It would be good if they provided a more convenient latch on it. The trap works, but it isn't the sturdiest. The trigger plate inside the trap bent and it was difficult to get it working correctly again. Remember not to allow the floor plate trigger to fall in the opposite direction when you are unloading the trap with a heavy animal in it. The gloves are a nice addition, and I suspected they would be cheap. But I was pleasantly surprised at their quality. Remember to use the gloves when working with the cage with an animal in it. I don't think being scratched by a wild animal would be a good thing.The armadillo was able to destroy the lawn underneath the trap by sticking his claws out of the holes in the bottom. It might be a good idea to protect the lawn by placing something over it first before placing the trap. Just a thought.

Product assembly is fairly easy, but instructions are hard to understand. Could be broken down better but only takes about 60 seconds to get fully assembled.I've used Marshmellows to catch 5 raccoons with this cage so far. None have broken out but have bent the metal trap arm, as well as one managed the rip the floor step off.Thankfully both are easily repairable with just pliers. Overall, product holds a full grown raccoon very well and prevents escape. Comes with gloves that work well.Will be buying more in the future.

This is a very large cage and will work fine for raccoons, possums etc. It does fold easily. It dis seem a bit flimsy and one of the sides tend to "catch"on the lift gate. The gloves seem very well made and worth thw money.
