Nice coffee. Not as strong as expected and a tad expensive, but has a great taste. I'm not sure if I will continue my subscription if the price continues to rise. For now, I'll keep buying.

trust me when I say this is not Vietnamese Coffee... I have fortunate to live out there for a while.It tastes Bland & slightly chemically... Not Strong, Rich & Chocolatey...Just Look elsewhere on the site...

Wow WowAfter visiting Vietnam in February on my anual adventure with my Son who lives on the opposite side of the world to mewe drank a lot of beautiful Vietnamese coffee while in Hanoi and i brought some back but that didn't last but then i discoveredyour beans and the moment i taste it in the morning i am transported straight back to Hanoi.Thank you so much,this is my future BeanTony

After trying other coffees by this brand I was really excited to get hold of a large bag of what was stated to be whole bean coffee.On arrival I was saddened to find that this was ground beans rather than whole beans.Now the elephant in the room has been address, the coffee itself is the usual high quality and has a great taste. It’s great to use especially in a mokka pot.It’s a medium to dark roast and really bold and strong. Whilst have a robust and dense flavour it is still incredibly smooth and clearly a great quality.This is a great company with a great ethos. If only it was beans as stated rather than ground coffee they would be getting full marks.

Such is the consistency of these bags that I've gone from five stars to one stars and back again.So, this is great value and my guess is it's not just because Robusta is cheap. The different levels of roasts evident in a single bag suggests this is the leftovers from assorted blends.Some of the coffee looks light roast, some of it seems almost burnt.So I've had cups that have just been too bitter.It's hard not to think of these bags as the leftover floor sweepings.However...I love Robusta and I enjoy being able to buy it at a very good price. I appreciate it not being a very dark roast with packaging that brags about its strength. The amount of times I've searched for Robusta and it's been wall to wall coffee bags with skull and cross bones on them.Because (mostly) this is very tasty and I really enjoy it.I'll take the varying roast but hope they can keep the too-dark roasted beans out of there.But, it's Saturday night and all is well the world and I've just had a killer cup from the second kilo bag that I've ordered. I lived in Vietnam for 15 years and I love that grassy robusta flavour. Can't get enough of it.So I've just bumped this back up to a 5 star review. Keep being worthy of it.

It's a really nice coffee however if you are expecting a "strong dark roast" as described it will be underwhelming if that's the only style you like. It is very nice and a donation goes to cause from each purchase. However I would say it's more of a "medium roast" as it lacks the dark roast punch don't get me wrong it's still a lovely coffee though.
