Saw retelling themed story
This one is not for the faint of heart. Read the content and trigger warnings, and respect them. They are there for a good reason and even if you aren't triggered (like myself), know this one will test those limits. So think about your mental health and decide for yourself. Nothing wrong with knowing your limits. That said, oh my.... This book had it all. There was best friends, second chance, love for all.... Carrie went though so much and deserved so much better. This SAW retelling is great, it is a long one, but every page, ever word was needed to tell the best story that needed to be told. This one is full of a cast of characters that you want to love or hate. You will cheer for Carrie and her guys, you will curse many people, and you will hope as you read each page for a hea that may not come. My heart went through a rollercoaster ride, I wanna just curl up now with a teddy bear.Great for readers that love a little gruesomeness, young love, suspense throughout, and a bestie that is willing to do anything for you.

Wanna Play A Game?
I would go as far and say this is a Saw retelling but more of a Saw inspired story instead. The beginning we get the backstory and I loved how the main characters were all connected. The boys were so sweet and super overprotective of her. I was so angry with them for how they handled the situation with the wenches. A lot of terrible things happen (as they always do in Jenn & Amber's books) and at one point I put the book down and stopped reading. I literally walked away from it for a good week I was so angry. The second half of the book we finally get to the "Saw" inspired portion. There is some pretty brutal unaliving going on and it was well deserved. I was literally cheering it on at one point, grabbed me some popcorn and everything. I was only sad I couldn't actually witness it LOL.Overall, I enjoyed the story. If you like some friends to enemies to lovers then you may enjoy this as well. I highly recommend you check the trigger warnings before reading.

Phenomenal and Dark
This is one of those books where saying it’s a five star read it just not enough. I don’t have the words to say just how much I loved this book. First and foremost please read the trigger warnings! If you have none or they don’t apply to you this is a must read.I was hooked right from the start, completely drawn in and couldn’t put it down until the end. These authors take you on a wonderfully dark and emotional rollercoaster ride. The characters are fabulously written and you feel there emotions. There are so many twists and turns that will keep you guessing and the ending it perfect for the story.

For a honest review in my own words. Wow now that's a twist .Carrie Campbell moves next to chuck, bates, and meyer when teens and with high school drama that gets out of hand starts a chain reaction . 10 stars of perfection.

Okay
I wanted to like this more, but part two and three were the only good parts of the book. I spent most of the book waiting for the games. I think if I didn't read the blurb, I might have liked it more. Carrie was frustrating, and the boys were stupid as he'll for leaving her. It didn't make sense because the others still tortured Carrie in front of them...Anyway, I can forgive them for their stupidity. What I don't understand is how they went from brothers to lovers... I skimmed through part one, so maybe I just missed it, but it was a shock and unnecessary. It took away from their love for Carrie in my eyes. Oh well. I still recommend you read it just don't expect the games to happen until 80% through the book. Make sure you check your trigger warnings because they happen out of the blue in the story. But the author gives you warning.

Good read but…
First, if you read the warning on triggers in the beginning of the book then it is completely unnecessary to add it to each chapter where there will be triggers. It makes the book as predictable and unsurprising as someone narrating each scene in a movie. Secondly, you give the FMC a kick a$$ dad but made her as weak as possible until the end. There were too many inconsistencies with her development. Maybe because the love with her boys started too early, mostly because 14 -16 is not easy for a reader to relate to all the emotions you require for us to connect with the characters. Lastly, overall a good read but that is because of the end. All that being said, I will try another book from these authors.

Who wants to play a game
This is a Saw retelling with so many turns that I did not see coming that I could not put the book down until the end!!! It completely sucked me in and held me captive. It is dark and delicious and takes you on a wild ride. It is set in 3 parts, first part pre-game. 2nd part is 3 years later, which is when the game occurs, and then the 3rd part is post game. Please check trigger warnings before going in as thos book is dark

Want to play a game?
This play on Saw is absolutely amazing. It is dark, twisted, and can leave you emotionally exhausted. Definitely read TWs because this book covers just about every triggering topic. Carrie and the guys are hot AF and Jenn & Amber did an amazing job with this one.
