A great idea
I love the idea of being able to use a pencil in a pen body. Only complaint is that something about the design causes the lead to break off much more frequently than expected making the writing experience frustrating at times

Brittle/Breaks
I never have this problem; and, I write all day with mechanical pencils.Perhaps it’s the fault of the design/construct of the pencil. It was originally fitted with .07 lead; and, following a tip, I gave this 0.5 cartridge a try.

Happy with the service I received
I was surprised to discover my mechanical pencil (award from a previous employer) actually uses a cartridge to deliver the leads. I was very happy to find the exact brand replacement cartridge at Lanier Pens!
