I got this because I like taking Bergamot for my health with regards to my glucose and lipids. Bergamot is a citrus fruit that is primarily grown in Calabria, Italy. There are some who have claimed impressive benefits with Bergamot imo but for me I only notice small bumps in my numbers albeit they are in the right direction. It's enough imo I still take it and have kept it in my regimen for many years. As I've tracked my numbers I can say quite confidently that with a low quality Bergamot product not much happens for me personally. And too it's important to realize with most supplements, this ingredient included, the individual differences will vary imo based on one's unique body chemistry. Meaning some may not notice anything at all which is why I think it's real important to get lab work done and try different brands if your not seeing any benefit before eliminating it from your stack. What caught my eye with this brand is that it is made in India. I order some ingredients from there and have never had any problems and quite impressed with the quality I notice. Also too note the company it was made for Monoherb, on the back of the label is indicating a UK address. The UK imo has pretty high standards with their supplements. And lastly this is in extract form meaning that usually the most potent part(s) was used. So I am eager to see if that will translate for me personally in a benefit surpassing what I am used to seeing. A number to watch for imo with this is your HDL possibly as I like what I notice with that with good quality Bergamot. I notice too this was made in a CGMP facility and this is single ingredient which imo should possibly make it easier to get quality aspects up to par. I have been looking at the benefits of Bergamot for a while now and was happy to purchase this so I could give it a try. This is sourced from citrus and is easy to take and a good size. There is no bad taste or smell and it appears to be good quality. It arrived quickly and was packaged well. Should help with calming and overall health and I'm looking forward to further testing.

Normally, I'd look at the label and say "Oh boy... made in one country for company in another country to be sold in this country... that's scary." But in this case, bergamot happens to come from India, I'm not especially worried about it being made for a company in the UK, and when I compare it to my name-brand extract capsules, it looks and smells pretty much the same.So, from at least a cursory look, the ingredients don't seem much different than name-brand capsules that cost way more than these do. As far as effectiveness, that's tough to determine after just a couple of weeks. I can say that there have been no adverse effects. But if my blood work checks out, I'll definitely consider switching to this for the cost savings.
