Bought this for my dog treats. They are bigger treats and this fits almost a whole box. Great buy. Also has rubber seal on lid to keep them fresh.

I have a small dog and 2 cats. All of their food, medication etc is in a cabinet and feeding time is kind of an ordeal of shuffling through the various containers. The ziplock on the pet food bags invariably rips off of one side of the bag and then it's a clothespin closure. The cat claws the bag when he can get at it and then it needs to be taped up so I'm busy chasing the cat away while feeding. Chaos.I prefer a closer to zero waste purchase so I wanted something glass. I bought 2 of these for food and a smaller one for vitamins.It works great. It fits 4 lbs of kibble almost perfectly. I can leave the larger bag in the pantry and just refill the jars as needed so food stays fresher longer. It's made feeding time way easier... just lift the lid, scoop and push the lid back on.The only down side is that the lids are kind of thin/flimsy feeling. They are not so flimsy that they will bend or break right away, they just aren't the heavier steel I expected.

This is a nice jar that I bought for soft cookies. It has a nice seal on it, and has kept them fresh and soft.

I have two of these jars, and so I measured the ones I had before I ordered this item. First of all, let me just say that this one item is three times the price of what I paid for one of mine. When I pulled it out, it was half the size.When the seller says that the item is 7.5 inches tall, they are not stating from where they are measuring it. Is it in the position shown in the photo? Or are we measuring with the opening on top? That makes all the difference, and it’s no wonder this item is frequently returned.It’s also poorly made. I thought I might be able to make do with the smaller size, but when I set it down on my countertop, it wobbled. It’s not supposed to do that, and if I have to worry about it being knocked over, all the more reason why the $21 fee is Highway robbery. Don’t waste your money, go get the anchor hocking brand where you can get 2 for half the price of this cheap piece of crap.

Love it! The reason I give 4 stars is because the lid is flimsy thin. But it has a tight fit though I don’t believe it’s stainless steel. It’s more of a thin tin material. Works well though!
