Heavier than other paddles I own, but I like it

Overall a great paddle with a great combination of rubbers and blade. This is more than a worthy upgrade to my typical DHS 4002 choice - great feel and consistency... although at this price point, you might start looking towards a custom-made paddle. The only thing that threw me off was the lack of fishy smell that was very apparent with both my DHS4002 paddles.. I initially thought the paddle might have fake hurricane 3 .. but the rubbers still had tons of spin and played just as well.pros:-very gift-able - great outer box with everything you need included-great rubber combination - make sure it matches your play style though!-looks like a 5-ply rosewood blade, which sits in that $60-$80 range. so decent pricing for a pre-made paddlecons:-The silver case does a great job protecting the paddle during transport since it's a hard shell that prevents anything from getting smushed.. but looks/feels a bit cheap - doesn't quite match the paddle in quality-Not sure why the edge tape isn't applied - I found it annoying that I had to install itI give the paddle 5-stars.. but the overall kit 4 stars

The quality of the rubber was not good- it did not produce adequate speed or spin of the ball.

My husband was a scholarship tennis player in university, but his joints don't let him play tennis much these days, so he enjoys table tennis instead, with less running around required. The Chinese certainly know their table tennis, and this paddle's quality reflects that expertise. It is beautifully made, with lovely inlaid wood on the handle, and quality materials throughout. The rigid storage case is a nice touch to protect his investment, and the paddle should last for years with great care..

The media could not be loaded. This is my first premium paddle. I’ve used regular rubber paddles like $50 for decades. The amount of spin is like quadruple on this one. To me it’s lightweight too. It’s slightly heavier than the paddle I used but much more light than others I used. It also has more power. I read hurricane 3 rubber is the best. I thought it might throw me off there’s 2 different rubbers but I guess that’s how the game is now. I feel bad for my opponents. This was definitely presented seriously with the level packaging.
