I already put together the Lego version of the McLaren kit and was impressed with the presentation as well as the detail. This Alfa came today, and immediately just seeing the box, the elaborate manual and overall presentation, I’m more impressed with this kit. Granted I haven’t put it together yet, but after looking at the parts bags, the decal sheets and the proper tire sizes in this kit, I have no doubt it’ll be a ripper. Very nicely done. Update: finished kit today. Overall this kit is on par with Lego. Biggest difference in looks, was the proper sized tires/wheels. Done of the instructions are a bit vague, but as long you pay attention, all will go together just fine.I will say that directly compared to the McLaren kit, this one does feel a bit fragile comparatively speaking, just in the fact that you have to be picky as to where you pick it up, as some parts are a tad loose. The decals are one other point that could use an upgrade, but it’s a minor thing.

Looks nice put together. Some parts fit loosely and come off easily. Good for display, not for playing with. Nice instructions. Less expensive than Lego. Not a knockoff. Seems officially licensed.

My impressions of this product are nothing but positive. I have also built a similar type car from big name leader and I enjoyed building this one more and think the finished look is much nicer. The price point was great. There are a lot of pieces. The manual is fairly clear as long as you are careful. This is the kind of build that if you Use the incorrect part in one spot, you will have to dismantle to retrieve that part. I found this happening a couple of times, but it was totally due To my haste N putting it together.

So far this is an amazing kit. From the quality packaging to clear and detailed instructions this has been a pleasant surprise. The quality is on par with the name brand kits. Assembly is smooth. You do have to be careful in assembly due only to the lack of colors as most parts are plain black. It is easy to confuse some parts. My only issue is with the decals. Some are very large and it's hard to get the air bubbles out. I found using a squeegee worked well. At half the price of the name brand this is a great option. Very pleased with the product so far and highly recommend.

Really looked forward to this build, even bought the wall hang to display it with. Unfortunately won’t be able to complete the assembly, due to parts missing. The tiniest pieces can affect the entire build, & if any are missing, you’re pretty much dead in the water. Never even made it past the first section. Since the car can’t be completed, have to return the wall hang now. Complete waste of time & energy. (And money).

My first non Lego, and was very surprised, great box, packaged well and not missing any pieces. For the most part most of the pieces fit well, the instructions were good for the most part, you MUST pay attention and follow very closely, or you’ll miss areas that are not always clear in the directions. The decals were a mess, some stuck and others seemed to have no adhesive. Also the white areas bleed out. All in all a tough build, but the final product is excellent and the price is right!

A great build! The instructions can be a little confusing in a few places, but overall it was much more enjoyable than the Lego McLaren that I recently built and much more detailed. I will definitely be buying from them in the future.
