It's not brass, it's rusted. Even the screws are fully rusted. No return can only be exchanged. Already they took long to deliver it. So no other way to keep it.Due to rust it's not sounding good also.Please beware of the the seller as I have never seen brass with rust.

This bell has a beautiful sound..magnet is also very nice..but price is very high..

This bell isn't sensitive at all I bought so I would know every time my father uses bathroom My expectation that it will ring when opens the bathroom door but it does not as my father is opening the door gently and it will ring only when the door is pushed hard so not useful product for my requirement and I don't know how I can replace it because there is no such reason listed for the return so I guess I am stuck with this product
